    Bypass-Type BMS?

I have a reason. The runt cell can take a break while the strong ones keeps working. At some point the strong ones will wear out and be equally as weak as the runts. it's a long term way to balance the pack :D

    Bypass-Type BMS?

Aloha  . I've been dreaming about making this since 2007 when I was active here. It's only now that I figured out how to make it using Arduino and relay boards. But the relays are only rated at 30VDC 10A which is great for my boombox packs and a 30 volt ebike. I've been flaky so I won't...

    I am back AF

Hey DrunkSkunk! Aquaponics, actually. I moved to another apartment with a rooftop yard and I was excited to start a larger aquaponics garden. Unfortunately, this yard has tiny red mites, spider mites maybe, and other flea-like bugs that destroy the moringa at the roots so I haven’t been able...

    Got my aquaponics project started

yep, light and dry weather, both of which just happened to appear in the last few weeks. I forgot that sunlight would reposition down into the living room floor at this time of the year, so now the plants are getting early afternoon sunlight and they are loving it! So much that the shorter...

    A Good water saving Idea

seriously, tho.. it wouldn't be too hard to build one over existing tanks you entrepreneurs out there could design upgrade kits that would fit over existing toilet tanks and include special plumbing parts in correct specs that are used in your country add some Star Trek theme for novelty...

    A Good water saving Idea

that's standard in modern homes here in japan and so are washlets with heated toilet seats, both IMO the best invention in the world! for a bit more $ you can get the deluxe models with motion detector, auto flush, auto lid/seat lift, deodorizing fan, voice activation with the Star Trek theme...

    Got my aquaponics project started

yeah, I read that too My main crop will be peppers because fresh jalapenos aren't available. And I can't eat aquatic plants. Lettuce sprouts are best for quick clean up cos their roots like a submerged environment, you just gotta aerate the water. Besides, they just happened to be available at...

    Got my aquaponics project started

yeah man, I was never a fish person, just cats! I never knew fish have personalities, let alone brotherly love for each other. Now I think it's reasonable to assume that they have love towards their masters the way cats and dogs do. I felt bad for not feeding them for a few days, but it's for...

    Got my aquaponics project started

Loaches have a sense of camaraderie, no really! Nitrogen was rising so I stopped feeding for about 4 days. Their behavior was strange, all fish activity stopped as if they've all been put on "pause" like a DVD movie. The loaches sat still at the bottom of the tank or on top of the clay pots and...

    Got my aquaponics project started

38.1mm dia clear tubes? 30 feet? ..if I had those I'd make a tube aquarium that runs all around the room with tiny fishes and use the tees for plant and flowers, and air stones, have water flowing in one direction to circulate aerated water. tho I'd prefer at least 60mm dia. Now that I found a...

    Got my aquaponics project started

I AM SO HAPPY with the tube bridge build. It serves two purposes: a bridge for the fish between tanks, of course, and a bigger diameter water transfer pipe...the problem was: the grow bed drained fresh water back to tank A and raised the water level higher than Tank B, two hand pump siphons...
