New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Too bad they didn't introduce some sort of on/off style throttle on the XH18 display, it's already got a thumb grip. They could have made a toggle mode by holding some say the "i" button for a certain amount of time.

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Actually it's already in production, but only available in europe for now. $4500 bike: https://www.ebike-manufaktur.com/en/katalog/e-bikes/8cht-gates-nuvinci-ecvp-380-disc-continental-600wh ZF also signed a deal with Magura to work on e-mobility, or small 2,3,4 wheel electrified systems...

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Throttle is nice for commuters, people not interested in working out, but looking to get from point A to B. Also for people with bodily injuries, if they are in pain or overwhelmed by a hill or something, they can use the throttle to get home or use it for a quick full boost up a steep hill.

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Nuvinci has already shown plans to integrate their cvt into a mid drive motor.

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

That's basically my idea of the perfect e-bike. Pinion gear box with an electric motor, all built into one central unit.

A couple of ex-audi drivetrain engineers created the PINION gearbox for bicycles. Here's what they had to say about it:

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I have the N380 and it's extremely difficult to shift under pedaling load to the point I feel like I'll break it, regardless if the motor is on or off. Let off the pedals and it shifts with ease. That has nothing to do with the TSDZ2.

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Yes, because the TSDZ2 shuts off almost instantly, it's really the same with or without the motor as a regular bike. You have to stop pedaling. The problem with cadence sensor bikes is that they keep spinning for 1-2 seconds after yous top pedaling. So they're not like a normal bike. They...

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

FYI, i love my nuvinci cvt hub, but does not shift at all under load. The problem is, even if the motor cuts out. You’re still spinning the pedals which is still spinning enough to cause the nuvinci to not shift. In a cadence only setup, the motor doesnt stop very quickly, and may run for...

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Finally finished my bike: --GT Talera 4.0 --700x47C with Alex DM24 29" rims. --Nuvinci N380 Hub --Surley Singleator chain tensioner. --500W TSDZ2 48V --42 Tooth Chainring from Electrify Bike Co., but of future-bike.it origin. The only thing left to do is wait for and install some rotor...

Biketrix is Canadian Electrify Bike Co is U.S. but im not sure if they drop ship or stock locally. Recycles Ebike drop ships, but i think he may have a new website that sells and stocks domestically called Eco cycles. However, he is a U.S. seller that’ll support u after the sale. I used...

    Should work just fine.

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Chain's aren't too expensive, but it sucks when you're out in the middle of nowhere and it breaks. I bought the strongest rated 3/32 chain I could find. These are for single speed BMW and Fixie track bikes, so they don't have the provisions for shifting on a derailleur, but that makes them...

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Did u let it calibrate the torque sensor? Stay off the pedals for 10 seconds after u turn it on. It calibrates every tim u turn it on.
