CA SF Bay Area - HUGE Lot of E-Bike Parts (Lyen Controllers, Hub Motors, Batteries, Cycle Analyst) -$1500

Hi, Im selling quite a large lot of hub motors motors and ebike parts. I bought a lot awhile back to test some custom motor controllers and embedded electronics I was developing. After I finished motor characterization I no longer need them. I want to sell everything in one go but please ask...

    Norco E-Line (Adaptto MAX-E + MXUS 5K)

I just finished the bike up! I'm having some issues with the Adaptto BMS since there are some I2C errors between master and slave BMS modules. I think something is wrong with one of the TI 4s BMS ICs but I haven't given it a good look yet. I want to design a better BMS down the road and was...

    Norco E-Line (Adaptto MAX-E + MXUS 5K)

Just finished the bike today and took the first test ride around. Charging is working great. I programmed a spare C2000 launchpad as a CAN controller because I had one on hand and its works great. Next up is to figure out the J1772 handshake and I'm ready to roll. For now, I will just use the...

    Norco E-Line (Adaptto MAX-E + MXUS 5K)

Here is a bit more progress on the bike. Working away on the battery and charger system. Just ordered some CANbed boards in the mail since they are tiny and cheap ($20 a pop on mouser with a SAM32 based mcu!)

    Norco E-Line (Adaptto MAX-E + MXUS 5K)

Hi guys! I decide to convert a Norco A-Line into an electric bike. The plan is to use an MXUS 5K Hub motor and Adaptto Max-E controller with a 20s 10ah zippy compact lipo pack. I'm going to use either a C2000 or Teensy 4.1 for thermal management (trigger fans from thermistor setpoints) and CAN...

MXUS coming out with a 5K-Turbo motor, 55mm Magnets

Ive been using the 5k Turbo with a Adaptto MAX-E and its been a really great motor. I bought it from alibaba for 400 shipped with a laced rim too! Worth every cent. I would highly recommend this motor. so far its taken me up to 48mph on the 4T variant without drawing more than 6.8kw for the...

    Norco E-Line - MXUS 5K Turbo + Adaptto MAX-E + A123

Yeah, its the 4T version of the motor. The battery cells haven't been used in many years so it's going to take a few cycles to wear it back in. I hit 48mph the other day this thing is seriously fast, to say the least (Currently limited to 40 battery amps right now). I think speeds of 65+ are...

    Norco E-Line - MXUS 5K Turbo + Adaptto MAX-E + A123

After saving up for a LONG time, I finally was able to get the funds together for my dream bike conversion, and boy is it fun. I got the 4T MXUS 5k moto from Alibaba, the Adaptto MAX-E used off of an NYX bike and the A123 from a local EV conversion shop that didn't know how much there were worth...

    GrayK's RC Mid-Drive (Deathbike)

I disagree since Torque generated = (60 * K * I * flux)/ 2pi where K is the armature torque constant and I is the current. The torque generated is directly proportionate to the current being fed into them.

    GrayK's RC Mid-Drive (Deathbike)

Yeah its a current ramping limit. Basically a torque limiter

    GrayK's RC Mid-Drive (Deathbike)

I put a torque curve on the motor controller for that reason. It ramps up the power from 10% to 100% in a given time independent from the position of the throttle.
