    Casual Commuter Recommendations

Maybe a slower wind 48v kit would help? Mine tops off at 20-21 mph at 48 volts and 23 mph at 52 volts. It's a good match for my cheap triangle pack, and since the OP only wants to travel at 20 mph... How are you getting only 23mph with your setup? None those cheap kit motors should be slow...

Xcceries/Yescom DD kit with 36v 500w 20 AH Tesla cell battery?

That is interesting. I do have a badass little beast of a battery, yeah she's got a BMS and she's rated at 30 amps! But of course, for longevity it is recommended to pair up with 22amp controller. And that would be the 500w kit.

Xcceries/Yescom DD kit with 36v 500w 20 AH Tesla cell battery?

I will be getting a 36v 500w DD, yes that LVC is a problem isn't it? Lol. The 36v kit is hard to find, and sold out and that's fine. I know their game is geared toward marketing the bigger kit, which is the 48v 1000w kit. That way they can sell also bigger battery packs. And again, that's fine...

Xcceries/Yescom DD kit with 36v 500w 20 AH Tesla cell battery?

For some reason I cannot find many 36v 500w DD kits on Ebay, none from Xcceries or Ebikeling. I would like to for my battery. Maybe they just aren't as sturdy as the 48v 1000w DD's? I am not a heavy rider, so either would suit me fine. My battery is a newish 30 amp 20 AH Panasonic green...

    KT-LCD3 Stuck

Can't get off screen that says "Sour 2" (Source 2). Only thing I can adjust is PAS 0-5. Shows Celcius also and thats it. Is there a secret trick to exiting this screen, I have tried everything.

    36v 500w kit or 48v 1200w?

A super-low profile setup, small throttle with 24/36/48v speeds, cruise. 8) There are hardly any EB in my area, so I hardly want to advertise. Throt will be taken to with a black magic marker

    36v 500w kit or 48v 1200w?

Did you ever use the LED display, mainly curious if the PAS will be adequate. I would be happy with no display at all,.

    36v 500w kit or 48v 1200w?

Another consideration is the winds in Kansas. I want something that can handle that and not burn up. I am just fine going a much slower speed on those days, no problem. Surely the geared motor for the 700c would be a slow wind of 201 rpm, so it will be happy spinning slower as opposed to higher...

    36v 500w kit or 48v 1200w?

Thanks DM, sounds good. Want to get the DD later and also, your recommendation of 36v sounds better than the 48v DD for my needs. I do not need anything that does 30 mph for the sake of safety, the idea of faster speeds sometimes takes over my brain and I need to be set right  The...

How do you find out if the controller is programmable?

    36v 500w kit or 48v 1200w?

Ok thanks, Wes. Corrected! So no low voltage cutoff problem for the 26amp controller? What do I need to program it?
