Phaserunner voltage reading inaccurate - 0.9v too high

@amberwolf thank you so much for responding to these various questions! Actually, my multimeter(s) are correct and the CA3/phaserunner were displaying the wrong voltage. I did get the answer back from Grin. I incorrectly assumed the voltage calibration setting was in the controller, not the...

CA3 firmware update v3.14 to v3.15 breaks Speedometer function

I used to be in the semiconductor industry. Not every chip is perfect and exactly to spec. (However, this is very rare.) This can cause various anomalies like this...

CA3 firmware update v3.14 to v3.15 breaks Speedometer function

To close the loop on this. It looks like it is a rare issue with a very limited run of the CA3 hardware. Grateful for a warranty replacement. Sending the old unit back to Grin for analysis. I decided to upgrade my controller to a Phaserunner since I'm rewiring anyway. So, now I have this...

Phaserunner voltage reading inaccurate - 0.9v too high

Recently decided to replace my old Lyen 12fet controller and upgrade to the Phaserunner V6. The installation and testing is going well with the one exception of inaccurate voltage sensing on the controller. For example, my 16s pack shows 67.4v on the Phaserunner utility (& CA3), but the actual...

CA3 firmware update v3.14 to v3.15 breaks Speedometer function

I had the opportunity to try the suggestions (resetting to defaults) and verified it is definitely an issue with CA3 firmware v3.15 and beta firmware v3.2. Reversion back v3.14 again and speedometer function works fine. @amberwolf appreciate any recommendations. My hub motor is a generic 9C...

CA3 firmware update v3.14 to v3.15 breaks Speedometer function

Just recently updated my CA3 to firmware version 3.15 (latest stable) from v3.14. However, the speedometer function of the CA3 no longer worked (displays only 0.00). I verified the "pulse" settings (23) for a generic 9C hub motor. So, I downgraded back to v3.14 firmware and the speedometer...

Trailer hitch rack for 2 ebikes recommendations

Haven't viewed or posted for a long while. Thought I'd share my rack solution. I went with a multi - purpose platform carrier. Like this image below: Rated for 750 pounds. I added a Lund bike carrier attachment to my harbor freight platform. Total cost is around $85.

Just wanted to say thank you very much to zombiess for this thread! I know this is a very old conversation, but it resolved my issue with limited regen voltage options for my 12fet Lyen controller. XPD was not working for me. I'm running a 16s battery and the default options in the software...
