    Battery mounting options

Storage will depend on how you build up your battery. For me it's LiPo's and so I popped them in a bikepacking bag, for me a Revelate Tangle, and strapped it on tight to the downtube..

    $14.99 72v Sunwin Controller

Slightly off topic. But I would like to buy a xie-Chang Infineon without the mods so that I can solder the programming wires & modify the current with stock caps & mosfets but I can't find them either - much like the sunwin board

ES Downtime Scheduled, Thur Aug 6th 12:00 PST

+1. Google searches seem to return https results from time to time that result in browser reporting a certificate error, this isn't a criticism, but there does seem to be an issue!

    Push Button Throttle

Hi guys, I have updated the software to make the buttons behave better, they seem less jittery now. In order to remove the jitter I have also manually tabulated the throttle values, rather than allowing the arduino map function to calculate them on the fly. With the manually input throttle...

    Push Button Throttle

I am using servos to actuate the normal derailleur wires, which are clamped to the servos near the bottom bracket. I am using a single up, and a single down button with two functions each: momentary press of up/down button = rear derailleur up/down 1 second press of up/down button = front...

    Push Button Throttle

Hi Gregory, Your wee board looks great 8) My buttons are a little jumpy and I can't quite work out why. I am using another button library for my servo derailleurs, and I like how it functions much better. I will update the code for the throttle with the alternative button library and see...

Handheld Serial Programming: USB or Wireless

I have an iPhone. SoftwareSerial should work for talking to the MCU. I don't quite follow the com port issue unfortunately, I've read the post a couple of times but I just don't have the depth of knowledge you do - please don't spend your time trying to explain the com port issue in detail...

Handheld Serial Programming: USB or Wireless

There's a lot of information in there! :? It appears that there is at least one issue which you have described above which is solved now and can now be closed out? How you store the variables is neither here nor there really because you seem to have developed a couple of ways to present...

    Crimping tool

I use a tool very similar to the following tool for my 45amp and 30amp connectors http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Crimping-Tool-Wire-Stripper-Cutter-With-Accessories..... It works great, perhaps 1 crimp in every 5 to 10 fails the pull-as-hard-as-you-can test  With a 30amp powerpole you need...

    Push Button Throttle

Thanks for the interest - while my bike is indoors and messing up my apartment I am taking the opportunity to complete my other bike mod this weekend (using an ATTiny, buttons and servos to function the derailleurs). I hope to be finished all the mods by the end of the coming weekend so I can...
