    E-Go longboard.

This wouldn't work without replacing the motor also. You can check my post history if you want to see some pics of the motor to esc plugs. I have an E-Go. I would describe it as "ehhh it's ok i guess"... It feels fast when you first get on it. Just long enough for you to think: "yeah this...

What is your Dream E-skateboard build?

I changed my mind, I would have the smartwheels skateboard from "Snow Crash". Great cyberpunk scifi novel if you are into that sort of stuff.

    Looking for HTD-5 pulley.

Oh, I like the Idler pulley idea. Have you found anything that looks appropriate?

What is your Dream E-skateboard build?

Hey all, I was thinking it would be interesting to see what everyone out there wants and why. Mine is a commuter board that is still fun to ride. 10 mile range 18 mph Single or dual drive lithium ion or lifepo4 battery 90-100mm wheels 10-15 lbs loaded vanguard, tan tien, ceviche, or fat...

    Looking for HTD-5 pulley.

Just a heads up, its not as simple as using a belt with 4 less teeth if you have 4 less teeth on the cog. The best solution I have found is to use the center length distance calculator on sdp-si to see what combinations will work best. Also why would you want to put in a smaller drive cog...

    New longboard build in progress

Fantastic job! That board looks sweet.

    Modded Yuneec E-go

I think all in all the cost was closer to $200, but I also picked up the e-go off craigslist. I don't know if I would recommend anyone pick up a $700 e-go with the intention of dumping another $200 into it with this mod, but it was fun to experiment with. I only have 2 small hills on my...

    Modded Yuneec E-go

I took it out on my commute this morning. According to strava I went 2.8 miles in 12:51 minutes, with an average speed of 12.9mph. I'm pretty happy with this as I always hit 20 minutes of traffic leaving work just to get to the corner of the block, and I won't have to sit in it anymore! I...

    Modded Yuneec E-go

Hi All, here is my modded yuneec e-go that will cruise at 14.4 mph. I got 107mm abec 11 electric flywheels and the evolve boards drive wheel (33 tooth). I also got a 45 tooth belt from SDP. It fits a little bit loose, so it skips when you brake, but I haven't ever had it skip when accelerating...

That is a good point. I guess I will find out when I fire up strava and take it out for a ride after the mods. I'll report back in the first week of January or so. In response to the fitting of the evolve mount and the E-go trucks, the e-go truck has an extended axle on the drive side to...

Hey Marc, I don't have the skills in design to make a pulley for printing, but best of luck, that is awesome that you have the ability to prototype it. I have the same plans as you for the board. Probably tinker with it and then pick up a marbel if they live up to the specs that they purport...

I recently picked up an e-go. It averages 11.5 mph on flat streets with full battery, and struggles to make it up freeway overpasses. Even with those limitations I think it will please a lot of people for general use. I plan on using it for commuting in a city with very few hills, mountain...

    LiFePO4 battery source anyone?

There is actually a lot of evidence that lipo cells are more unstable than Li-ion and LiFePO4. On the endless sphere battery tech forum there are threads for 2013 and 2014 catastrophic events. They can be found here: http://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=56305 Most of...

    LiFePO4 battery source anyone?

Well if i did the math right, that would give it a Capacity of 28C, which is pretty reasonable. Correct me if I'm wrong, but those sure look like the cells used in the boosted board. Thanks for the responses guys. It has been really helpful in figuring out my plans.

    LiFePO4 battery source anyone?

Hey all, after reading many horror stories about LiPo batteries I've decided to build a board with LiFePO4 batteries. It is what boosted, yuneec, and others use because it is far safer. Does anyone have a source that they would recommend for lithium iron phosphate batteries? Cheers!
