As Chalo said the axle may be 12 mm but the bit that actually slots into the drop out will usually be 10mm. This is a standard convention as most bicycle dropouts are 10mm wide.
The torque arm comes without the holes to clamp the open end but it comes with the holes to bolt straight on to the...

Can anyone help me.
I am looking to use the DC power jack from the Cycle analyst v3 for 3 things at once.
Can I use a couple of these splitters http://www.ebikes.ca/shop/ebike-parts/wiring-accessories/ysplit90.html
to power these devices
Cycle Lumenator MAX DRAW 10W...
I am using an em3ev 18fet controller and a leaf motor. I have been running the motor for over 100 miles.
Like you I found the hall connectors to be plug and play. All colours matched perfectly. The only wire remaining was a White wire. Which must be the signal for the thermistor. I assume the...
Thanks kodin. I couldn't see the post you were referring too.
We know that the thermistor uses the White wire bundled with the halls as a signal wire and it shares the hall ground (black wire). It should just be a case of reterminating the White wire to the cycle analyst as described in the...
So I'm hooking up the temperature sensor that came pre installed on my leaf motor 1500w. I asked for a 10k NTC so hopefully this is not the issue.
The sensor appears to use the hall sensor for a ground as I can only see the signal wire come out of the motor.
By default the cycle analyst...
Leafbike have confirmed that they use a 10k thermistor. White is signal and black uses common ground (hall sensor ground)
Doesn't solve my issue though.
I am having a similar issue with the temp sensor.
When I set the cycle analyst to 10k NTC and connect the White temp wire to the connector at the CA it just goes from 5v straight to 0v and indicates -36c.
I created a thread about it in technical...
I have an 18fet from em3ev and I have programmed it so that it will not limit amps.
The cycle analyst is programmed for 75 amps max. I can only ever record around a 70 amp draw.
I get similar results at 85amps. I then only pull 80 amps?
Anyone know what's going on?
Just setting my motor up with cycle analyst. Anyone know how many magnet pole pairs there are in the 1500w 4t?
Also what chemistry do I select for the battery. It's a Samsung 20R pack
I will be using a 3 stage defence system for my bike
Stage 1
Fahgettaboutit kryptonite u lock
Stage 2
Motion sensitive remote controlled 110db alarm
Stage 3
GPS305 hidden in headset as previously discussed
Can't really do much more than this to protect your bike.
I suppose that's one of the benefits of living in the UK. Next to no chance of a thief owning a gun.
also the police here ain't got anything better to do than arrest people so I suppose if just call them.
What would I do if I knew which house my bike was at?
Lots of things......
