Hi Bathchris, i have two of the early white board ones that im yet to install in a bike with a 3kw ipm like the new ones ones in the lightning rods kit and a solar pump.
I'm curious what motor you are using with your scoot do you have some photos and specs of the motor in your scoot ...
Hi. Senlimagnetic make the lmx motors I bought an
SL-120-12-30 and 35 size from them and they took less than 2 weeks to ship to Australia from China. They make the 40 50 60 and 80 size as well .
SL120 series ipm
62.5kv
0.35mm lams
N40sh magnets
12 slots
10 poles
120mm stator dia
12 and 14mm shaft available with 4x4mm keyway also supplies 219h sprockets
photo of internals of their ipm type
SL120-12-30
data for IPM type 30, 35 and 50mm length stators
I thought I would bump this thread because IPMs are cool and i found some more small ones , check out the offerings from senli magnet
This one looks remarkably like the new small block IPM from Lightning Rods it might be nice on a norco fs frame i have gathering dust...
Hi, nice work.
you are likely loosing a lot of thrust because your diffuser thrust straightening fins are not angled and are likely in a stall. you might study pictures of ones off actual aircraft. the air coming out the back of the fan is turning about the aixs and this needs to be caught...
I bought two of these , one for my ebike and another for a solar pump one can make the vesc work as an autonomous solar pump controller for pumps that have either a brushed dc motor or a 3 phase PM motor , and are fed directly from solar panels with no battery.
I have an older flipsky 4.2...
How to impliment MPPT tracking of a solar array to drive an electric pump using a flipsky vesc mini 4.2
how i used a cheap flipsky vesc to replace a solar pump controller and program it to operate directly from solar panels with no battery and serve as an mppt variable speed pump driver that...
In reply to limbs query ; the version i was working is the rare one built for a back pedal braked rear hub and has no freewheel so the kick on was a real problem, for one with a built in freewheel a lower sensor polling frequency and or slower power roll off ramp would be fine.
hi again fourbanger i forgot your second question, " why is it better than the SWX02 series ?"
because it has thinner laminates and comes in a faster wind i could not find an swx with a goodly fast wind and the xf15 sold as a 36v motor has less turns and more wire than any of the swx02's...
Hi Fourbanger, the measurement changed when i went form eyeballing it and guesstimating and getting out the calipers, for the greenpedel motor it is sitting in a box abandoned because the motor was not a bafang. it had a plastic ring gear and the motor rotor was horribly unbalanced and i was at...
Hi Kosio86,
if your torque sensor was damaged i would expect it to either give more power than usual for pedal effort, there are reports elsewhere on es that talk about failing torque sensors and when their spring gets weak or crushed by the elephant legged individuals who can stomp harder than...
