The 52v charger upped it to 52.8v then I couldn't watch it anymore so unplugged it and off to bed. This morning I've done about 40km and its about 46.3v. The 48V charger still won't trigger, 52V charger is working. How do the trigger circuits in these chargers work? Must be a way to test it.

I presume thats a Shimano Press Fit BB. What adapter did you use to fit the BBSHD and what BB width is the BBSHD?

If you opened the controller up you'll see the 2-wire headlight circuit is soldered directly to the pads the battery 48v comes in on. So it's basically hardwired to the battery. Battery on, light on. The controller isn't logically in the circuit. I know this because at the weekend I opened up...
