ok, easy fix for my dropping chain problem (lets see if it works long term)... I just reinstalled my front derailleur and locked it out with the adjustment screws to be in the right position. Now... back to my alignment issues... i not have a sneaky suspicion that its the front part of the kit...

I don't know if i need a tensioner as I have a clutched rear derailleur, i just need something to prevent it moving from side to side as I've had drops in both directions... I'm just not sure what will fin into the limited area that the LR kit provides...

Hey, crazy suggestion... but why not create a tensioner with a spring that can be locked out? So you are only making one unit, but people can choose what they want with a few turns of a screw...

Hahahaa yeah I forgot that I got that in this video. That's a god idea with the tensioner, but my understanding is that this kit doesn't need one... I'll try and take a better video tomorrow from the side so you can see how much it effects the chain tension. Basically it's causing it to slap...
