Seems like a lot of us have problems getting in touch with tumich... If you look at his profile under "Last activity" it says "-". What does this mean? Everyone else I look at have a time and date... Kicked out? Banned?

I have bought the same type of cell from Tumich. The letter B and QR code are the same, and on the opposite side you can see a very very faint text, mine says "NCR18650GA 7511". You must almost look sideways on them in the right light to see. I´m 95% sure they are geniune...

That´s what I was afraid of... Ah well, the Kelly survived at least, and I can borrow another CA from a friend to get everything up and running.

As the topic says, I had an incident the other day, where most all the wires going in to my cromotor got shered off and shorted to the motor axle. As far as I can measure, one of the hall sensors died, I´m working on replacing them right now, but also, my CA V3 gave up... I had two wires...

Exactly! My motor spins faster and produces more torque to the ground then my friends motor = mine should run cooler. Also, the Cromotor V2 has greater efficiency than Cromotor V1, and finally, the aluminium stator makes the V2 cool down faster. But despite all the above, my friends less...

Turned out the bouncy spring was user error :roll: There was an adjustment for the rebound as well, and this was set to the lowest. With it turned up a bit, the damper feels much better, but still a little hard. I´m having charger issues that I will deal with first, but come summer, I might...

Took it out for a spin in the woods, and the damper doesn´t do much dampening, it feels like its just the spring there, bouncing around. However, I had the compression setting on the damper at its lowest, thinking this would make it softer. Took another short spin with the compression turned up...

I ended up buying a 250cc dirt bike shock with a 1000lbs spring on it. Had to weld on a new upper mount and cut the seat post a bit to make room for it. It´s a bit hard, 850-900lbs might work better, but I will try riding some on it before changing spring.
