    cpm 90 motors

actually, I think that the prices for these motors including controllers (both automotive grade products) to be very interesting^^. Thez look like a high quality and very efficient drivetrain imho. However, If they offered a build in (Chain-driven) CVT instead of a 2 gears system I would be even...

    Sensorless Controller Solution?

the confusion my posts provocated are probably due to a translation error. What I meant when I wrote "flywheel clutch" was actually a centrifugal clutch sorry for the confusion.

    Sensorless Controller Solution?

sry for my late answer. what I meant is neither :) it is just a system that if the motor turns below a certain rpm (say below 3000rpm) it is not loaded. As it accellerates the clutch begins to "grab" and the motor starts to do some actual work. I assumed that it is problematic for the...

    Sensorless Controller Solution?

perfrctly possible that I am completely missing the point but wouldnt a flywheel clutch be an easy mechanical solution to that problem?

    Sensorless Controller Solution?

I cant really give an answer to that I am afraid. To many technical terms that I have no idea what they mean. Hopefully there will be time in the future so that I can read some stuff explaining all that :). However, what I meant to say was that I heard (also here on the forum, I think) that some...

Do they offer a torque mode? I think kellys do (not sure tough).

    Sensorless Controller Solution?

Hi, this is a topic that I am very interested in recently. As I see it at the moment (and I could very well be wrong), there are two problems with sensorless motors at the moment. 1) sensorless controllers seem to often have trouble to turn an electric motor at low rpm and high load. A...

    Adding hall sensors to outrunners

Hello, I might be interested in halls that can be mounted to the turnigy 80-100 series motor. But only if a mechanically untalented guy like me can acomplish the job ;). What is the price? rgrds, spkpn

What's it called when larger capacity uses more Ah/Wh?

First, I think that this effect would affect a smaller pack more than a larger pack. Second the peukert effect is not something that causes dramatic capacity decrease in lithium batteries (at "normal" use) afaik (much more relevant for lead batts).

    suitable hall sensors

thanks for your help! Is this the sensors that you mentioned: http://ch.mouser.com/search/ProductDetail.aspx?qs=%2Ffq2y7sSKcI1%252b7w80VWwIg%3D%3D if so, they are cheap enough not to consider the standard... Thanks again

    suitable hall sensors

Dear all, I emailed scorpionsystems to ask whether they also sell their Scorpion HK-7050 motor equipped with hall sensors (and different windings). The answer was yes :) more specifically: now i need advice on which to use so that I can then use a kelly BLDC motor controller to control the...
