S ok if I assume the orange wire t that goes nowhere is label ntc at one end. That would mean the white wire is the other end of the ntc.so I should connect the orange wire with ground?

Thank for the advice. It wasn' the battery or the connectors because I changed the controller and the motor and no longer have this issue. I use those warerproof julet connectors . And yes loud and weak..
My ebike hub motor only runs good every 1 of 3 times if I cycle the throttle %100. It's been like this with every controller I've tried. By runs good I mean quietly and more powerfully.
