NEW Bafang G063 Motor, G06A2 Automatic Transmission Motor, New Display Released

I decided on rear hub as well, but I don't think I'll get the G063 as I want more speed. I may need to get a direct drive for my fatbike. I think it's possible to run the G063 at 72V, but it'll def wear down the nylon gears too quickly. Did you manage to pick up the G063 yet? If so, how's it...

NEW Bafang G063 Motor, G06A2 Automatic Transmission Motor, New Display Released

No problem! Are you going to get one? I'm still trying to decide between a rear hub and mid drive right now

NEW Bafang G063 Motor, G06A2 Automatic Transmission Motor, New Display Released

This one seems legit. I've heard from a couple people saying they purchased from here and got the right motor. https://www.aliexpress.us/item/4001307992593.html?gatewayAdapt=glo2usa#nav-specification

Using a non-fat tire on the front wheel of a fatbike

That is very interesting actually. So I could just run a second motor instead of having to deal with offset wheel or buying a new fork.

Using a non-fat tire on the front wheel of a fatbike

Damn, so you have a normal rim on a fatbike hub? I wonder if that stresses the spokes.

    Controller/Display Compatibility Question

Ahh man that really sucks. I wish they were consistent with their firmware. Maybe I'll have to resort to trying the lishui open source firmware project. I wonder if it would take off if we made a master spreadsheet of all the compatible controller/display/firmware combinations. I'm not sure how...

Using a non-fat tire on the front wheel of a fatbike

Thanks, this is super informative. I'll give it a shot and see if I can get the same experience. If it worked for you, then it might work for me. Better handling is what I'm looking for, and less rolling resistance/weight will help with range and torque.

Using a non-fat tire on the front wheel of a fatbike

Honestly I'm only planning to use it for roads. The reason I went for a fatbike was for higher load capacity, larger frame, and smoother ride at high speeds. Higher load and frame are because I want to add a back seat and run 2 batteries for range.

    Controller/Display Compatibility Question

Do Bafang displays work with Lishui stock, or are they all flashed with the open source firmware? Apparently they both use UArt to communicate, but people still warn not to pair them. The UKC1 display works with both Bafang and Lishui controllers. Some OEM ebikes pair Lishui controllers with...

Using a non-fat tire on the front wheel of a fatbike

True, a lot of choppers have this setup huh. I might try pairing a 2-2.5" front tire with my 4" back tire.

    MXUS New 60V 1200W Geared Hub 120N.m Torque GDR-19FAT

I found a russian guy who's posted a video seemingly describing it? I don't understand Russian. He's also posted a short video of the motor running on a stand, although at very low power.

Using a non-fat tire on the front wheel of a fatbike

Is there any reason why a normal wheel for the front of a fatbike wouldn't work? Most of the weight is sitting on the rear wheel, so the front wheel doesn't need to handle as much weight, except maybe when cornering. A thinner wheel would have less rolling resistance, weight, and drag, and...

    MXUS New 60V 1200W Geared Hub 120N.m Torque GDR-19FAT

The specs on this are looking crazy so far. It beats out the Bafang G06Xs. So far I've only found the product page, a wholesaler, and then their own Alibaba store. Curiously, they also have 2 listings for a 1500W version with 125N.m of torque. Listing 1 Listing 2 Voltage Wattage Torque...

NEW Bafang G063 Motor, G06A2 Automatic Transmission Motor, New Display Released

First post! It seems Bafang has once again quietly updated their rear hub motors with an interesting change. I wasn't able to find ANY info online, but the former H550 aka G062 page has been replaced with the new G063, which only comes in a 1000W model with no variants. There's now an updated...
