I got a Vpower 36v 10AH A123 Lifepo4 from China. I charged it last night and took it for a spin and only got a few houses down the street before it hit the LVC and died. Is there a tester I can plug-in to the harness to check each cell or should I just start removing the tape?
I would be using this with an e-bike kit 500w 36v rear hub motor and infineon 36-48v [22 Amp] Controller.

After about 15 miles of riding my butt hurts :| Thinking of trying this seat from Walmart.

Only $16.97 and great reviews . Anyone else have this seat? Any other recommendations?
I just replaced 4 puffed up foil cells in my 48v 10ah lifepo4 duct tape (ping type) battery. C1 and C2 were both around 0.7 volts.
I just charged it up. Do you think I should run it like this and see if the cells even out? When I charged in the past, the charger would go up to about 59.5v but...
Trying to figure out the wiring: GoldenMotor 1000w Brushless Motor to Infineon EB809XC-A-12 Controller.
I connected all the halls and phase, color to color.
Then for the throttle I wired like below and I got no power?
Infineon- --GM Throttle

I have a (EB809XC-A-12) 36v (22A) Infineon (Nine Continent) Controller. I just want to make sure I am doing this correctly.
SL to GND-5 = Cut Speed (wires already there, I just need to add a switch)
BK to GRD-7 = Regen
CR to GRD-4 = AutoCruise
I will be using a switch for 'Cut Speed' but...
The battery seems to charge up fine to about 59.53v , I then go for a ride and the pack only lasts for a few minutes  the voltage drops like a rock and hits the LVC.
After 10 min off the charger the total pack is 51.1v and my individual cell voltages are as followed:
C1 1.3v
C2 3.5v
C3...
I picked up another EVG e-bike for parts. The 24v Heinzmann rear wheel will not engage, even if I try to pedal the bike, the freewheel just spins with a little resistance... I removed the freewheel and the freewheel is not the problem, it seems to be something internally wrong with the wheel...
I have a 48V 10AH LiFePO4 duct tape battery. After charging the battery the other day, I was ready to go for a ride but I had NO power. I checked my fuse, it was ok. I inspected the BMS and it looked ok. I then unplugged the small ribbon cable going into the BMS and power was back :D But when...
I saw this 36v 10AH pack on ebay. But, according to the chart, it looks like it only handles 12A ? That seems low? So it only support 25A for a short time? :?
Instantaneous Maximum Discharge Current (A) 25A
Maximum Continuous Discharge Current (A) 12A
Here's my EVG Ebike, originally a 24v - Now a running a Ebike 500w Direct Drive Kit with a 48V 10AH LiFePO4 battery in tackle box, Watt's-Up Meter, Schwinn Speedo, Planet-Bike Fenders, 2 torque arms, Zefal Raider HD rack.
I have lots of tread on the other side where the wires are coming out, but on the freewheel side I could use a little more thread sticking out. After I put my torque arm on and a washer then my nylon locking nut, the nylon doesn't contact the axle. Is there a way to slide the axle to the...
I am running a 48v 1000w Golden Motor with a 48v 10AH LifePo4 battery. I trimmed the shunt so amp peak is only 19.6A on my WattsUp meter, even on a steep hill it never goes over 20A. The positive lead on the battery goes to a 30Amp fuse then to a 24V 25A rocker switch. I haven't had any...
For my 48v 10ah LiFePO4
I fully charged my pack and the voltage is 59.33v
What voltage would be considered LOW?

On my SLA (12v 12ah batts) 48v pack, I follow these guidelines:

While charging - Full charge should show 55v (13.75v ea) [after charging and letting them...
Besides using Cycle Analyst or cutting/notching the shunts, is there a way to have control of my max amp draw with a pot? I need to limit my 35A controller to 20A max.
I am thinking of mounting my controller in a frame bag like this one. They are 13" length x 10" height x 1.5" wide.
This is my current setup with the Lifepo4 in the tackle box :) and the controller mounted to the side of the rack with wires everywhere  . Does anyone think the...
I picked up a nice 24v EVG Ebike for my wife with NO battery case and the thumb throttle lever is also broken...Hmmm, I was thinking of gutting the EVG and installing my Goldenmotor 1000W 48V rear kit with my Lifepo4... that would be cool but my wife really wants to ride the EVG and keep it...
I have a Golden Motor 48v 1000w (430rpm) Brushless rear wheel kit and I think my controller has a rating of [36-60V 22A-35A max] but I am not 100% sure of that... My questions is, will my 48v 10AH LiFePO4 that I just bought handle the amps of my setup?
I see on ebay 48v 10ah battery listings...
