Has anyone repurposed an EZ limn with lipos???

The EZ kits came with a great little case that hung off the side of a rear carrier. They had a short life span, but their controller and charger should work with lipos. Don't tell me that I'm going to be the first one to try it.... If someone has done something along those lines, what size of...

Why do Aussie builds ROCK! Their laws only allow 200 watts!

I'm thinking the road warrior movies weren't done on a set. They just put a few posters up for extas, and did the whole movie on free food and beer. The vehicles were the everyday rides of the extras. Honestly, per capita, Aussies have the "neatest contraption" competition aced. I think I...

Trucks on their own routes lightweight, elsewhere.

We won't make truly great strides in transportation without segregating incompatible vehicles. How can semis coexist with nevs? No way! Almost in the same manner as rail has been a seperate entity, we will idealy move toward that segregation. Perhaps not in our lifetime, but in the...

Going to charge my 74v lipo's commando style!!!

There's just too much information for my tiny head to do this properly. I've probably read 300 pages of threads over the last few days, and the process has left me feeling stubborn/stupid. I'm in that frigg it state of mind I'm going to take the whole pack: 20s 8p, connect it and put my...

Tidal Force S750 without the wheels...what next?

Impulsively, I bought a tidal force on ebay without the wheels, i.e. the motor and batteries. They're designed for a rear motor, and I don't have one. Does anyone know if those forks will handle a front hub motor? Anyone who has seen one of these, I'd appreciate any advice. Bob

    Spiked tires...sources and recommendations

No two ways about it. I need spikes I've commuted in winter with Schwalbe Ice Spikers, and they did a good job with the exception on sheer ice where they followed dishes in the road to create "side wipes" in the midst of traffic. What kind of spikes have those of you with serious winter used...

home style breaker for ebike use

I have a 500w hub motor and 48v sla batteries, and I thought a good way to combine switching and controller protection would be to use a panel style breaker between the batteries and controller... So, I put in a 15 amp breaker, and it seems to blow randomly at less than high throttle loads...
