can i use such a small high rpm motor?

nobody said you cant do it, its just a question whether the time and effort and the rest of the parts cost is justifiable when going to a bigger motor for an extra 30 dollars or so would yield MUCH better performance. we had a saying in street racing days...throw enough 100 dollar bills at ANY...

can i use such a small high rpm motor?

Couple of problems with such a small motor and such a high KV. if you intend to feed that thing any sort of decent voltage it will spin WAY too high....say 48V at 900rpm/V = 43200 RPM!! lets use 80% efficiencly thats still 34500 RPM. I'm pretty sure that a. that motors bearings cant survive...

Motor Cycles worse for Environment Say Mythbusters

Open loop vs Closed loop system...simple. Cars have the ability to monitor the a/f mixture and compensate the fuel intake to trim to proper ratio. Motorcycles do not. Some motorcycles do have 02 sensors but its for part load cruise only and it doesnt really help that much. Also super sport and...

Building a ebike, fast 60kmh top speed, 20km range

everything sounds good cept the battery choice....when it comes to a/h you wanna go as big as possible...5 a/h are the best in terms of price to a/h ratio. (i'm not talking dont go HK Lipo, i meant the size of the batts) reason? believe me, from someone who runs an 18s3p pack, the additional...

    HK Lipo issues, gotta vent.

Yea i'm starting to think that switching everything to andersons was a bad idea actually. i thought they would have more holding power than they do. and i also agree that me connecting the packs wrong a few times has done some damage to them. sigh....cost of learning right? the worst i'm...

    HK Lipo issues, gotta vent.
