    BareKuda true .... some controllers have a overheat protection where they auto roll back the power in this instance.. If we at least knew this sport / boost duration we could at least manually stay under that. I wonder if this has some sort of protection in the firmware that we dont know about ...

    I see 190 is phase :idea: but votol.net give a peak dc amp [Boost ] for the em-100 @130 @ 48-60v but no duration for boost. So ill guess 70 dc amp boost for the em-50.

    HI can someone direct me to the peak amp duration on the em50 ..im hoping 60seconds+ I know its 55 cont and 190 peak but cant find the peak duration so far. Has anyone tested it.

    Ian In photo,s above is my handlebar mount / down-tube [ 75x50mm rhs x 3mmm thick] so its about 5x stronger than needed.... Went to my engineer buddy today and picked up my motor cover as it had to get re-drilled / re-tapped disc brake pattern to 44mm bcd .. Even from new my motor bearings...

    Yeah izeman good point .... the 5083 i used is good as it retains exceptional strength after welding. Its used in marine environments. boats ect. On top of that ive over engineered it a bit just in case ... my swingarm and fork are a bit over the top but ill never have to worry about those...

    Swingarm welding is done, good clean welds just need to cut the old shock mount and brace out and clean it up. This was a 6 + week wait to get done, not stressed though.. nice to move on to the next stage.... Also first stage of bar- mount and down-tube done.

    Droupouts aligned for welder , This method ive used before on my bike, clamping the swingarm pivot and the flat bar on a extrusion should keep them nice and straight, im going to stress this to the welder... this is dam important to get right .

    Went for clamping droupouts , they have been reliable for me before in alloy at 22mm wide @ 7--10kw power. This time i went 30mm wide without axle nuts, just relying on clamping force , should be ok at around 7kw They look a little overkill but this is a good area to have some over engineering...

    Great scooter , i think this is my favorite simple clean and i like the single swingarm design. What is the top speed , tell us more about custom motors ,magnet width / stator width / stator diametre looks like 11 inch tyres ? And performance, what is the voltage and what is your max kw output...

    ITS TIME! Swingarm time that is, got some billet laying around so im either going to go with clamping droupout or slotted with bolted end cap.... The trick is a deign that fits the bill and is the easiest for both welder and machinist resulting in a cheaper outcome also , stay tuned.

    Ive seen all sorts of butchery removing stators like That.. even from cowboy manufacturers .. then using a risky non controlled / violent Method to reinstall stator is entertainment [ watch those fingers :shock: ] anyway.....enough said and back to build. For the sake of anyone doing this...

    Seen that method and variations not a fan as its possible to damage end windings and scrape magnets ect ..... The pic was getting first cover off... Ill show my method For anyone interested as soon as i tested it, for removal and reinsertion of stator without risk of damage.
