    I dont understand how using a resistor and a diode would help. Could you explain full throttle? I was thinking maybe a NPN transistor would work with a resistor. When the voltage drops it would allow the capicator to drain to resistor and controller instead of just controller. Would this work...

    @mad rhino arent those extensions female to male? I believe since the balance board needs female, I think the charge needs a female too. I will contact hobby king about this thou. Can you recommend any psu to start me on my search. Most i have heard about only do up to 48Volts

    how do you remove the lead? Well i check the connectivity of each wire with the 2 connectors attached. They are all good. I checked at the board, all 5 wires are attached and i clean the connectors but still says it fails with a periodic transmit failure

    Just an update, i got a bigger soldering iron. 3/8ths and it work wonderfully. i was surprised that the traces would absorb the heat faster than 140watts replaces it.     yes, i understand thank you. I guess solder guns in general dont have much thermal mass. As soon as i touch the soldering gun to the trace the solder on the gun cools.
