    Cycle analyst v3 questions

Hi and congrats for having your CA v3 up and running. But it may not be set up properly with the correct parameters. To help the community here answer your queries, you should tell us more about your bike. Here is what I can tell you from your screen shots… 1. The CA logs your maximum current...

CA V3 throttle tuning, current / power mode

I would venture to say that most CA V3 users will have current/power throttle hooked up (as opposed to speed throttle or pass-through). Mine works very well once the parameters were properly tweaked.

Anyone dealt with Green Bike Kit ? Not shipping my stuff

Pretty normal, really. I order stuff from China which sometimes ship from Shenzhen which is just about 40Km from where I live in Hong Kong and it sometimes takes WEEKS to reach me. BTW, May 6th is 'Buddha's Birthday' which is officially a holiday.

So you are willing to ditch the front folding mechanism by adding a front suspension fork?

    hidden wire brake sensor... ?

Hi Henri, Did you try searching for 'brake sensor' or 'ebrake' in this forum? Who knows what will turn up? ;-) Here is one of the threads you will find.... http://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=57607

Cycle Analyst V3 preview and first beta release

I installed the CA v3 with a Thun torque sensor on my bike a few weeks ago and initially had the same problem. My setup is much lower powered - a 40V/15A max setup (i.e. peak 600W) with a KU63 controller. Here is the typical scenario where the behaviour is potentially hazardous... When...

    Power Assist vs Human Power

If you mean keeping the total output figure (Human plus Motor Watts) constant at a preset figure, then no. The CA does not have such a mode where it can decrease motor power as you increase your effort to keep the total wattage constant. If you mean adding a constant power level of assist on...

Throttle solution for drop bars / road bikes with Arduino

I worked on a similar Arduino setup on my bike which used only one button and an ebrake input. Basically, the button has to be held for the motor to run. On the first press and hold, the motor is commanded to the lowest speed. To step up to the next level, the button has to be momentarily...

    ebika.ca VS bmsbattery.com ebrakes?

I use this one: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/HWBS-Brake-sensor-for-ebike/754341315.html I also have the BMSBattery one. But I like this one better because It is smaller than the BMSbattery one and you can choose the cable exit direction when you order it depending on how you want it fitted...

    Thun sensor - L vs K

Thun torque sensor comes in the L and K varieties. What's the difference? The installation instructions say something about the direction of rotation signals being reversed. Does this matter when connecting to a CAv3? Thanks for any info.

    Tongxin rear roller gear motors

I ordered and received one from Outrider in China a month and half ago. But be aware that orders from individuals will take a long time to ship no matter what they promise. Mine took about five weeks from order to shipping...

    KU63 controller problem

Might be easier to order a new one and specify PAS Start. As you know, they are cheap at only USD15 a piece. R

    KU63 controller problem

Here the picture of my board. It's the same as yours. Probably lumpy soldering making it look like there were extra components.

    KU63 controller problem

I went ahead and snipped the wire connecting pad 'L' to ground. Lo and behold, now the throttle works! When I have time, I will desolder the two pieces of wire. So having pad 'L' tied to GND seems to enable PAS Start (i.e. requiring the PAS signal beyond a threshold before allowing throttle input).

    KU63 controller problem

Hi all… I just got two 36V KU63 controllers from BMSBattery. One replaces an existing controller (LSW70A6G) on my bike. The other will go into a future conversion project. I thought it would be a simple swap with the existing controller. But it did not work. Here are the details: 1. The...
