    Sunthing battery 48V 15Ah

400 watt hours sounds about right for what you did today. Going 24 mph you could get a range of 30-35 miles throttle only. Ive been wrong before but that's just my 2 cents

Cheapest 30+ MPH Hub Motor Build?

You would need a controller to handle the increased voltage. If you wanted to up the voltage you would put the two batteries with a series connection and and amount of ah wouldn't matter be better if it was the same. If put into a parallel connection it would need to be the same chemistry so it...

    paralleling LiFePO4 and Lipo

So if I put 4-5 diodes in parallel on the positive wire of each 48v 10 ah battery should I be ok and not worry of one battery charging the other?

    paralleling LiFePO4 and Lipo

Regular voltage, foward voltage across diode, foward voltage on reversed diode. Shouldn't the reversed diode be showing 0v?

    paralleling LiFePO4 and Lipo

So I got those 45v 15 amp axial diodes in from ebay and did a test on them from a 9v battery. Foward flow was normal volts but when I reversed the diode expecting zero I still got about 6v. Im I missing something here I don't want to put 5 in parallel in a 48v system and fry my bms because the...

    paralleling LiFePO4 and Lipo

So I'm kind of doing the same thing by adding to 48v 10ah lifepo4 in parallel but they discharge at different rates . Now those 15A axial diodes seem like they would do the job but would i need to add two in parallel on the positive side of the battery so I can get up to 30amps on the...

Dont have it on me right now to measure but I'd say its 7 to 8 inches long and will fit in the included bag they give you. That bag is also junk as the velco straps will start to come apart and the zipper is just troublesome everytime I have to deal with it.
