    Hello. You can use any DYI battery with Bafangs. Only exception was M625, where motor started only with original Bafang CAN battery. You wont be able to set anything on M500 (only speed limit and wheel size). Battery parameters to set not possible at all. Here is not possible to set even battery...

    Hello. Go definitelly with M510 FC2.0 - here you can set also torque sensitivity (aka Assistance level percentage) plus some more params (acceleration, max current, startup angle, rpm). M500 does not support anything - only Speed limit and Wheel size. Comands are ok. ;) You gonaa set it once...

    Bafang M500/M600 thread

    Could be, they just used common +5V output for this. Dont have bafang batt to test it. I guess BMS would start sending even when it detects some current draw.

    Guys, do u understand why +5V is going to battery over battery CAN connector? That does not make sense to me. Main battery voltage is going to motor, here DC/DC to 5V and running back to battery.

    New product introducing. BB Racing - can trick the battery. You get more energy from battery. Also u can use 52V battery with 48V motor. Or 48V and 43V to have more power.

    Yes, this is v43.1 and looks like latest. I have v41.1 - but is good as you can set power levels. I guess v43.1 should support also.

    K1 Flash tested with first M560 - 500W. Works great. One observation: Not possible to set throttle speed limit. It is hardcoded (45 kmh) in a firmware same as on M510 FC2.0 (32kmh). M560 first revision controller is actually M510 controller with new bootloader 3.2.3 and different motor setup...

    With Flash it is only to set speed, circumference and wheel size over terminal. Rest over config file on included SD card. Commands example: s45 w29 c2230 And to run Calibration over command "cal" K1 BB3 is supporting all settings over terminal

    Hello. Should not go 250W with all PAS levels with DPC245. Very strange. Unless your motor firmware is set so. DPC245 is same protocol as older displays (with small differencies). So you see Power at the display max out at 250W?

    Hello Jermaine. Yes, that would be possible as K1 Flash can upload also M620 firmware. Unfortunately I dont have any 52V firmware for M620 (but have one new 48V v 41.1). I guess you want to change to 52V, right?

    If you interested in M600 firmware without power limitation (putting full power even at 10%) check K1 Flash. Also one version with lower power on PAS1 (150W) and full throtle at each PAS - which is great! Finally.
