    Backwards Pedal for PAS

Oh, ok, my magnets were on backwards. Works great now. Battery wire got quite hot so I decided to put shorter and larger gauge cable there. When I cut the old lead off the controller SPLAT an arc. Why don't they put freaking bleeding resistors across the caps?? ?Hope I didn't blow a fuse....

    Backwards Pedal for PAS

My PAS only works when I pedal backwards. It works great, but backwards takes some of the charm out of it. Is it possible that putting the sensor, or magnets, backwards causes this????

We are now the proud parents of two ebikes, a cruiser and a suspension comfort bike. The cruiser has a one-piece crank, so no PAS until I get some machine shop time. The comfort bike had a crank that just wouldn't loosen, and I had to turn it over to a bike shop to get the crank off for PAS...

Hi D8: You have me confused. Yes I have signal wires attached to the brakes. This does not seem to trip any brake assistance, only cut the motor, whether the grey wires are connected or not. If the EABS is from the grey wires (supposedly), what are the "cruise wires " you describe? SORRY if...

Thanks Wes, and all. I emailed with Gareth at the mfgr, who wanted a serial number. The end result was: "Hi Chas, Sorry, I have not search the serial number in our database. Maybe our customers changed the serial number by themselves . Normally our light wire is gray. About some cruise...

Also there is no accurate cable diagram, such as nothing to say what the two single grey wires jump when plugged together.

I'm looking for specs on the subject controller. Evidently I have to plug or solder or desolder something to activate Cruise; same for Regen. I can't find anything on line except for the KT-LCD1 LCD switch panel. Nothing comes up searching this site either. It's labeled 48v 26A +/-1A. It...

    Yescom LCD Conversion Kit PROGRAMMING

Hi folks: I couldn't find this information here, so now that I have dug it up, I'll post it. There seems to be great interest on this site for integration of flux capacitors onto the XYZ123 Cantonese controller boards, but not a great deal of info for the noobie installers--at least, searching...

Wesenwel or Wesenwell, no author search results. First (late night) test--wow!! I can't believe the acceleration, wonderful. Twist throttle seems to be on or off only, annoying if that is the case; I don't have PAS. I guess I would just dial my desired cruise speed into the LCD. NO...

Thanks Dan! The Yescom kit description said "disk front wheel only" so I was surprised to have a disk with my rear wheel kit. Unfortunately welding is beyond the scope of my incompetence. There is an obstruction at the axle nut, from the mount for the derailleur, thus I need modified washers...

My Yescom install has commenced. Once I decided that I'm not crazy and the Yescom conversion kit (48v 1000w rear) isn't a 1-hour universal everything-you-need kit, I resigned myself to scrounging and begging tool-savvy types to help me craft the needed spacers and adapters (including a...

YESCOM FIT PROBLEM Anybody dealt with this? Frame (brown) is slightly cantilevered to mount the shifter, and the elbow of the cantilever obstructs the axle nut. Also, there is a large washer that rests on an inner shoulder (at center of gear, not shown) of the axle, if that's where it goes...
