New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Do I still have to use a 110BCD chainring on the new one ? Yes, still 110

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Keep in mind that the Bolt Circle Diameter of the new TSDZ2B differs from the old version. So there's no such thing like an one fits all adapter. If you get to bolt that 34T on, you'll soon find out your chainline goes from bad to worse, so what's the point?

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Running a 52V battery is possible as long as you dial in your charger from 58.8V to 56.3V, as that's the max voltage before the overvoltage protection from controller kicks in. That means you can charge your 14s battery to about 4V cell voltage and lose usable capacity accordingly. Low voltage...

Shengyi CMT06, new mid-drive motor with torque sensor

This motor is now being sold by Pswpower. Anyone tried already? Maybe this thing isn't bad at all...

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I highly doubt you have much headroom with some 63V Capacitors and a 15x4.2v fully charged battery. Let's do the maths...mmmmmh

Reention POLLY DP-6C - 70 cell battery case - how fit BMS?

You need a dedicated BMS, same as with Hailong 2 cases. I wonder why the seller didn't offer a all in one package. Bought myself a Polly 1with 13s BMS that fits on top, no problem

I need help with a problem on my bafang bbs01-b mid drive please help

Make yourself a paper tube of drawing paper with the outer diameter of the rotor and practice inserting the rotor at the old stator without cracking the magnets or shattering the Hall sensors. If the magnets are damaged, at least apply some nail polish there to protect them from corrosion. You...

I need help with a problem on my bafang bbs01-b mid drive please help

The controller might work, but make sure the capacitor that sticks out of the gray poo has not popped yet. If it is domed, it is toast.

I need help with a problem on my bafang bbs01-b mid drive please help

I had pretty much the same experience. Pushing the bike backwards and jumping on it to make my way back home and so on. You probably fried the hall sensors. Quick fix is a new stator, from greenbikekit or so. Good luck.

Me too. Why can't this portugues guy stick to his own thread. Lack of attention?

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

You can grind some off from the motor housing and/or buy bottom bracket spacers at any local bike shop.

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Yeah, you're talking about cable brake switches. I meant, did you ever tried the common (Bafang) 3-pin magnetic brake sensors suitable for hydraulic brakes, on a stock VLCD-5. Some like these...

Did you try them on a stock VLCD-5 Display or not.

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

For those that already have the cable brake cutoffs that come with the drive unit lying around collecting dust. The switches can be glued into the gap of the Shimano BR-315, BR-447, BR-M615 and so on hydraulic levers as well. You just have to dismantle the switch completely

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

There has been several complaints already, as the TSDZ2 offers both, a huge Q- factor and the crankarms not centered to the middle of the bike frame. A single crankarm is only $10. A dual front chainring would worsen the already bad chainline. Let alone the hassle to find a suitable front...

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Without knowing anything about your donor bike I recommend: -a single right side Bafang crankarm to fix the huge offset -a dedicated e-bike chain like KMC X9e or similar -a wide ratio cassette as you will have just a single front chainwheel then -lots of brake pads and bigger disks as you will...

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Sure you can wire in hydraulic brake sensors. Use 2-pin sensors like these: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/2018-Electric-bike-brake-sensor-cable-kill-switch-for-ebike-motor-kit/32837047774.html I tried the 3-pin sensors once but it didn't pan out. All I got was an error code on the display...

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I tried the Steps cranks once as they came in 175mm, they are curved a bit less than the Tongsheng (-8mm), the Bafang is -16mm. I prefer TS crank left side and Bafang crank on the right, so the crankarms are evenly centered, as the drive unit itself has some offset to the right. A single Bafang...

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

I don't know what you have in mind with a PAS Sensor. There's quite a few software bugs you can patch instead. The display cuts off after rolling a couple minutes without assist, the LVC and OVC need to be made adjustable to make the unit work on a 11S battery, and a soft start ramp would be...

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

There's only tiny magnets next to the hall sensor that enables torque sensing. Wouldn't spend much time in searching for a PAS.
