Sturmey Archer IGH with cassette and mid drives

Commuting on flat terrain mostly, on bad roads, but often against high winds. Quick release is the skewer that goes through axle and allows wheels to be removed quick and easy, probably most common on road bikes. Direct drive hub motors are not as easily removed because of the wires. Dual drives...

Sturmey Archer IGH with cassette and mid drives

I have an SA RK3 and a Sram DD on my bikes. I put in excess of 5000W through them now and then and in excess of 2000 miles each to date. I'm amazed how tough they are. Neither really a pain when you need to get the wheel off. It is not QR but much easier than a DD. The only thing i don't like...

Grin Phase Runner / CA3 and BBSHD

I can't upload my CA settings, not sure if it is a type of file that is not compatible somehow. I don't think i did much except set the throttle out and maybe a thing or two i don't remeber exactly. Mostly i messed all i could in the PR software.

    KCR PANTERA Monsterbike

That's what i meant (rotor), i thought there is some reason for it that i'm not aware of. Makes sense to have the front brake lever on the right when riding both motorcycles and bicycles. Thank you guys both for clearing it up.

What is the purpose for have them crisscrossed? Do they keep the bike on a straighter path when both applied hard? Kind of ballance each other out in some way?

    KCR PANTERA Monsterbike

Personally i don't see the point of pedals on high power ebikes.

    KCR PANTERA Monsterbike

Why the front brake on the right side? I think it looks great and will probably work great too. I wish Neematic did happen.

Grin Phase Runner / CA3 and BBSHD

I'm glad it did the trick for you. I just messed with the settings not really knowing for sure what i'm doing, but i kept at it till probably by sheer luck it worked better than it ever did before. For me at least.

Grin Phase Runner / CA3 and BBSHD

Here is what i am using for the PR.It works with a 48V/52V or 72V battery. Can't attach the CA file for some reason.

    GNG / CYC X1 Pro 3000w

They are the same in my opinion. I guess most of the noice comes from the planetary gear reduction.

Grin Phase Runner / CA3 and BBSHD

I didn't fare any better trying to get the PR to work with a CYC motor. I have 2 motors, i will try the second one maybe i get lucky.

Compact Field Oriented Controller, ASI + Grin, limited run

Not sure if "msec" means miliseconds regarding the stall timeout. I would like to have about 15 seconds of 1.0 Amps mantained after i release the throttle before the current drops to zero.

Lekkie Bling Ring 40 Tooth BBSHD Package

I wonder if there is any forum member that is using the 40T Lekkie ring and if the package (when/if available) comes with the steel gear/bearing assembly already attached/pressed into the cover. I was able to find just the cover for sale separately but since i've never had any problems with my...

Nucular controller. Sometimes if you try the autotune a few times it might work, regarding the Halls. There is a new Beta version of the PR Suite that could work better on some random faults.

Nucular Electronics owner's thread (setup infos, FW updates, links etc.)

Yes it is a 12FET Nuke. Vasily stood by me all the way and helped me get it going like a champ. Here are some pics with the intended battery, 20S10P from EM3EV. A little big and bulky but who cares about proportions when i got a crotch rocket. With a little luck i will have a 3D printed...

    GNG / CYC X1 Pro 3000w

` No luck so far. Firstly i am unable to input the motor parameter Kv. I was able to set the pole pairs but that was all. Also i am not sure if the temp sensor is the NTS10K, that has to be specified also. Autotune requires to set brakes cut off(which i don't use) throttle (the input prompt is...

    GNG / CYC X1 Pro 3000w

Anybody out there knows if the green/orange and yellow wires are the halls, white temp sensor and red/black +/- ?

    GNG / CYC X1 Pro 3000w

Will do. If i ever manage to configure the controller that is. Supposedly the UPS truck should deliver the X1 today but the battery is still going to be travelling some time till it makes it to my neck of the woods.

    GNG / CYC X1 Pro 3000w

Thank you Andre! I am waiting on the X1 the 58V version to arrive soon since Vasili beat CYC to the punch with the 12FET Nuke, with the hope that the CYC 72V controller will arrive when available and also have in the mail a 20S battery from EM3EV. I will try the original 14S controller that...

    GNG / CYC X1 Pro 3000w

I thought somebody posted the Kv and pole # of the motor but i can't find it so maybe i am just imagining things. Can anybody help?
