I also live in Sweden, commute 5 days a week, I aswell was using a my bike to hitch two kids in a trailer to and from school/pre-school, but those days are now past :) But to answer your question: for the last year I have been using the linkglide drive train, I just did my fist chain change...

BBSHD or 02 on bike with internal cable routing?

I had issues with clearance and internal cable routing so I had to cut a piece of the frame off, but I wired everything internally afterwards and the bike has now seen close to 2000 km, I use it almost everyday for commuting. https://endless-sphere.com/sphere/threads/7gen-ebike-build.118185/

BBS-FW: Open Source Firmware for BBSHD/BBS02 Controller

I cant really understand the issue with answering a question, the guide says "programing cable", my questions is: Is there a special cable or the same that you use for changing settings in the controller today?

BBS-FW: Open Source Firmware for BBSHD/BBS02 Controller

I'm not sure if I understand you so I'll rephrase: 1) My questions was not how to change setting after flashing the new Opensource firmware, my questions was how to flash the firmware in the first place to replace the original bafang. That there is a new tool used to change the controller...

BBS-FW: Open Source Firmware for BBSHD/BBS02 Controller

Hi, two questions I still got after reading the guide and most of this thread: 1) When you install the open source firmware, you use the same cable that you use when you want to program the controller? 2) If you, like me, have the sw102 display, and you limit the PAS to 3 levels, how will this...

    Daly BMS Problem (150A/72V 20S)

I had same issue with my s13 Daly, one day just reported low voltage, works change voltage at random as I was trying to get home. At home i measured the pack and found that all was ok, replaced BMS and will not buy a Daly again. This was also a simple 30a variant, load from my bike was maxing...

    7gen ebike build

So, soldering and printing done, I will take more pics in the sunlight: More images of finished bike: To summarize: I'm happy with the final build, I would have preferred to use the old Surly frame but it was not accessible in resonabel time, this frame and bike turned out great, I love...

    7gen ebike build

Since this frame has some nice "hidden" cable management the idea was to hide them all in the down tube: So here all the cable that are left coming out the rear: And since the idea is to use PAS only for this one, here is the only cable going to the display: The frame has a more "advanced...

    7gen ebike build

For my 6th gen I made my own battery using the N.E.S.E system. So i'm doing the same for gen7, but I'm this time using the bbs02 750W motor and I hope the controller on that one will last a bit longer, or I will have to switch to something more fun... I will use some better external lights and...

    7gen ebike build

Hi all, decided to share my latest ebike build. Some background first :) First build was with a falco rear hub, this was back in 2016. The hub motor was under powered for my needs so the quest continued on. Second build was the same frame but a mac-motor combined with a phaserunner, this was...

Issues with balancing on new battery pack

So just an update on what is what. I have recharged every 3p pack by themselves using the setup shown above, it took like 1 week for all the 13 packs. I have assembled everything back up now and below you can see the charge curve after around 6,6Ah used of power. So lessons learned: Do...

Issues with balancing on new battery pack

Ok, thank you. At this stage I have tried to run the battery and after around 8ah the bms cut off, at around 40V. I did not want to power back up or charge the battery, so I have disassembled it and I am now charging each 3p pack by itself, see the amazing invention below :)

Issues with balancing on new battery pack

I took the pack put and measured group by group, I'm not sure if it was 13 and 11 or 1 and 3 that was "high" It is interesting about the balancing you mention, but for me to understand, when the charger is "green" meaning it is "fully charged", if letting the charger to be plugged in, does the...

Issues with balancing on new battery pack

My "Fast charging" is a meanwell that runs at 1,7A, so not that fast, but I did try a smaller charger that does around 1A. I think you are right, I used an older BMS that I had over from another project and since this battery was put together and connected back i december and left unused for...

Issues with balancing on new battery pack

Hi guys, I recently built my first battery but it seems I have run into some balancing issues. I have built using N.E.S.E modules so it is possible to reassemble it if needed, but now to my issue. LG INR21700-M50LT cells 13s3p pack Cells bought in december, pack assembled back then but it...

    N.E.S.E. the no solder module

Finished my 13s build using the N.E.S.E modules. I am very happy with the result, seller is great to deal with, answers email and gave support before my purchase on what to order. The final result is a bit larger than my older welded pack, but this is my last pack that I need to build and I can...

    N.E.S.E. the no solder module

For anyone wondering, the issue seems to have been with the "white" plastic, same settings worked like a charm on a black PETG role but still wont work for two different types of white PETG. Not sure why, I just read that other people have issues with "white" PETG. One module is printed and...
