KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW)

Question to the expert of S06S... I use the S06S "boosted" with the original software and I have already a big issue with a overcharging of the battery during speed regulation with regenerating braking. The BMS has cut the battery charge and the regenerative braking have produce a pic voltage...

My Sun Trip Bike, Back to Back Tandem Trike with Rowing Generator, Pedals, +Solar

You are right, Justin A video makes by another Suntriper (Gregory Lewyllie) showing what you must do on your Solar bike to win the suntrip. kmEtpSKEbCI Yeesss, thanks for this great job solarEbike. Do you know if there is also possibility to have weather forecast on google earth?

My Sun Trip Bike, Back to Back Tandem Trike with Rowing Generator, Pedals, +Solar

According to previous Suntrip, the best can ride a arround 200-320km (120-200miles) per day. So the first group will ride the 12000-14000 km (7500-8750miles) in arround 40-50 days. For the majority, this will take more than 2-3 months. Just, just in time! Have a nice trip to France...

KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW)

Ok, it’s safer. I order some new S06S and LCD3. It will just take some time to receive them. Do you make some release in order to identify firmware version afterward? Do you plan to use the LCD3 as a piloting S06S for the FOC motor parameter in real time?

KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW)

A very interesting, great open topic also quite interesting for updating my “old” S06S. I like this controller but I’m not using it so much du to some programming features. - motor efficiency with the direct drive motor (not so good at low power) - no e-brake function though the normal break...

Converting a carbon fiber THYS 209 Rowing Bike to Electric

Nice and crazy project again. I wish to the customer  a lot of fun with this incredible e-bike. 8) PS: I was also really impressed by the performance of this polymer cable with breaking at 1150 Mpa!

Project Interceptor, oil cooled Q100H@55V, in-frame battery

I transformed the small S06S to a frankenstein version... In complementary of modification for running at 52V (80 Ohms input resistor replaced by 390Ohms and one small capacitor for 50V to 63V and LCV by one SMD 15K to 22K ) I reinforced all the power line and add a shunt (~0,3...

Cycle Analyst V3 preview and first beta release

@teklektik, Good idea, it’s possible to developed but I brought a CA V3 and a Thun torque sensor to remove a home made PAS electronic card I made… 8) +1, you resume exactly the problem. I also use the brake cut off when I stop and keep one foot on the pedal… I have a recumbent bike and in...

Cycle Analyst V3 preview and first beta release

Thanks, unfortunately this confirmed my meaning. I can't understand that Justin forget this function. Is there a incompatibility with other function ? I ride a recumbent bike and sometime it's impossible for me to start due to the hill if I don't anticipate by changing to the right gear...

Cycle Analyst V3 preview and first beta release

Just a question to the CA expert... I have a CA V3 B19 connected to a Thun torque sensor. I try to have assistance for starting from 0 speed by pushing on the left pedale. I read the CA document but I doesn't find the parameter to have only torque assistance. In every case, It seems we need to...

    A123 20AH cells source?

    "•Ladestrom (max.): 300A (15C - hohe Rekuperation möglich)" => This is the continous charging current. 5C max "15 C Entladerate" => Discharge current 15C => So for me it's 15C continous. Well it's arround 60€ per cells :?

    high turn count 9C motor.

You have RH and FH motor for Rear Hub and Front Hub. You have 154 and 205 version 154 is smaller in term of diameter and 205 is bigger. both have more or less the same torque. You have 7x9, 6x10, 5x12, ... 9X7 would be 9 strands and 7 turns. Chose depends of wheel diameter and torque, speed...

The care and feeding of a123-based packs...

About continous load, I use a resistance extract form hair dryer. It's gave me at 48V 265 watts heating . The most simple solution is to use 3-4 automotive ligh bulb 12v 50-55 watts in serie. Silicium use something like this. My battery (box+BMS only=1,35Kg) + 2,4 Kg battery = Total 3,75 Kg 8,3...

I have plan to charge my 15S2P with less than half a hour with very simple power supply 56V 10A. Today, I use 56V 2,5A with three small adapter in series. Output power from battery is not limited…for my 15S2P, 100A if you want. You must only add few mosfet in parallel for the battery...

After several cycles, I still have nothing burned...and it's work perfectly. I have calibrate balancing at 100mA for my small batterie. A picture with Balancing in progress. I use only for the moment 60v mosfet. Maximal battery voltage is 54V and charger output is 57V maximal. Batterie...

The care and feeding of a123-based packs...

I work in parallele with Silicium in order to built the full version with 15 cells for a "small" 15S2P battery. 90% of the job is allready done… The 15 cells BMS is allready finished, there is some small change in order to accept 56-60V at input in comparison of 12 cells version...

The care and feeding of a123-based packs...

@Gary, for sure. You have the possibility to charge and discharge without BMS… But in order to expect specification about numbers of cycles, max capacity over life cycles, no risk of elements damaging, no need to test each element capacity before assembly,….I think there...

Thanks for your help Marty Silicium will exchange the capacitor C1 just to see... He have allredy made some differents test with several transitor gain. But, it doesn't really help... He will focus on activation of 500 mA current limit when the first cells is full. There is currently no...

Hi, everybody from Germany for my first post at Endless! I am also interested about BMS developed by Silicium. It should do the entire job to manage A123 battery pack (cut-off at low and high voltage, balancing at the end of charging) with a standard charger. I have planned to perform one with...
