    Just noticed that BMS Battery has updated their website. They now have the labels for the controller wires. The three wire brake connector is for their HWBS (Hidden Wire Brake Sensor). So much for proportional regen.

    Those cells are rated at 10 amps continuous each so 4s 40 amps that pack says 20 amp continuous but does not specify peak amps (probably 40). What is exact model of 9 Continent you have? Run it in the simulator and see what you like. You could start at 20 amps and go up to 40. IMHO the original...

    I asked about the charger because that charger has been known to be unreliable. I have a Gt-Power meter between the charger and battery so I can see what is going on. Things like that battery frequently get damaged in shipping and it is possible that there could be an easy fix.

    Thanks eTrike . Just to be on the safe side I'm leaving the regen alone on the ride home. My speed down the big hill is about 50 kph max and I'm used to it now. This bike has been a blast. Very capable of handling the big hills and handles very nice with the new Rock Shock.

    I put a GT Power meter between the controller and battery today and made a few runs up and down the hill to see regen braking amps. First two runs with LCD3 set to 1 I got 30 amps max regen. I tried dialing it down with the LCD3 set to 3 and I got 39 amps max regen. Like I said in another post...
