Hybrid expo 4WD - Canvas bodywork

That's a cool design. I'd like to know more about it's biodiesel generator. Diesel generators aren't exactly small, so I'm wondering how they did it. I wonder if they took something like the diesel that was used in the Smart FourTwo, and modified it.

Volvo TGB20 6x6 military truck conversion

I would contact Traxial motors (subsidiary of Magnax motors), and see if they have a solution for you. They make some pretty powerful small axial motors. At worst, they could simply be out of your budget, or not work in your case. But it doesn't hurt to ask!

    Vector Vortex battery box dimensions?

Anyone here happen to know the Vector Vortex battery box internal dimensions? Need to know what size battery I can stuff in there. I emailed Vector, but I'll probably be waiting a while for them to answer back, so I figured I'd ask here in the mean time in case anyone knew, and I don't have to...

    Axiom: a 100kW+ motor controller

Does this controller have the ability to daisy chain, so if you had 4 motors, and 4 controllers, you could connect the throttle to one acting as the master controller, which would send data to the other 3?

    Spacer/Holder for 21700 cells

I was wondering if you ever found any of the 21700 honeycomb style holders, I'm looking at building a battery myself, but might end up having to use the half-cell holders in order to get that staggered design.

    High Amperage BMS Reccomendation

If you are willing to spend the money, you could use the BMS24T from Chargery. It supports up to 24S, and up to however much current you want I believe. It uses 1 or 2 external contactors (relay) to control charging/discharging. So for 500A, you would just need a contactor that can support 500A...

    PV NextGen FOC 100-180v 36kw max - $799

Are you taking possible feature requests? There is a feature on the Mobipus controllers that I'd like to see on a PV controller. It's called Auto FOC I believe. AFAIK, it works like this, as soon as you hit a certain speed (as programmed into the controller), it will automatically enable FOC so...

Installing CA 3 thermistor temperature sensor in QS motor

When sealing it back up, use RTV silicone gasket, you can get it at any auto supply shop. Also, while it's open, maybe think about adding some statorade if you haven't, it will help keep the motor running cooler.

19" Motorcycle Wheels vs 26" Bicycle Wheels (rim and tires)

I'd like to know what front fender you are running on the bike? Been looking for one that will fit USD forks.

    Lightweight AWD Sportscar

Will you be driving this in the winter? Because it seems kinda low for snow, or speed bumps, lol. Anyways, for the motors, you should check to see if Revolt can do Halbach Arrays with the magnets. It should increase the efficiency of the motor, and higher power density. Might cost a bit more...

    Motor options for sportbike conversion

Depends on how you want to set up the bike. Do you want a mid-motor with sprockets and chains (or belts and pulleys like Zero). You have less space for batteries, a con, but also have less unsprung weight, a pro? Or do you want a hub motor with no sprockets or chains, more space for...

HyMag tech boosts magnetic flux density of permanent magnets by 10-30%

Actually I'm not. Halbach array motors can be ironless, so you don't need rotor iron or stator iron. So no back iron or laminations. Here is a company that makes such a motor > http://www.launchpnt.com/portfolio/transportation/halbach-electric-motor Supposedly TFT FlightTech use an ironless...

HyMag tech boosts magnetic flux density of permanent magnets by 10-30%

I'd like to see some more halbach array motors. Yes, they are more expensive because they are more complex to put together, but they are much lighter because you don't need a metal armature core, thus no laminations. So you could have very, very, light rotors. The weight would be mostly from the...

    High current weld strips

I would do what Tesla does, have individual fuse wires going from each cell to a bus bar. https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=79950 https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=88039 You will be able to size the wire better, and get much higher currents, than if you use...

Spot welder capable of 24 awg fuse wire?

    Another Stealth bomber (clone) build

I think there is little talk on the mobipus controllers, because the manufacturer had stopped selling them to retailers and wanted to do OEM only. I guess they are selling them again. Not sure when they changed their minds. Edit: Seems in March of this year they decided to starting selling...

    15+kw hub motor?

The cromotor was simply turning a QS205 V1 into a QS205 V3 before the V3 existed. There is the QS273, but it's quite a heavy motor, and won't be that great for offroad, which is why I suggested the 205 w/ hubsinks and statorade.

    15+kw hub motor?

You can supposedly hit 20kW (max) with a QS205 and hubsinks+statorade. What will your pack voltage be though? The max voltage will determine the top speed.

High balance current BMS please help

How much are you willing to spend? The BMS24T is a pretty badass system, but you need to buy a bunch of accessory items, like contactors, to use it. It can do 1.2A/cell. It's about $330USD, that includes shipping.

Enduro frame builders, how do you waterproof the holes you drill in the frame?

All the previous frames I've used, typically came with pre-cut holes and grommets, going into the battery box area. My new frame has no holes, and I need to figure out a way to best insulated the interior battery area. I was thinking of using cable glands, maybe rubber grommets again. But I...
