    A very warm welcome onboard

They specifically forbid all kinds of cargo bikes so I guess trikes are not ok :(

    A very warm welcome onboard

I checked their Q&A in Danish, and it actually says that electric assist bikes are OK to bring as long as they dont occupy more space than a normal bike. https://cykelfaergen.com/spoergsmaal/ "El-cykler må gerne medtages, bare de ikke fylder mere end en standard størrelse to-hjulet cykel uden...

Problem with E-Twow Booster - help?

Under the display. It is the screws beside the display you should remove.

Turnigy Aerodrive Scooter (she'll be quick I hope)

Yes, mild compression, but it should be by a flexible structure not rigid, right? Please correct me if I'm wrong. Nice build btw, very interesting to follow!

On the contrary you should allow some margin for lipo swelling... Do not constraint them by something tight and rigid.

Alien Drive Systems- Stunt scooter from scratch

Is the skate deck part of next gen? Actually I thought of starting a scooter build with a tad flexible deck to provide some suspention (like the Jack hot/zero) and the ability to pop curbs. Just a little though otherwise the handlebar movement will be strange I guess.

Really awesome! I like how you keep improving your builds! How do the motor like to be under the fender when offroading? Dont grit and dirt hurt the bearings?

    Lightweight standup-scooter sanity check

I was under the impression that hub motors are pretty heavy for their performance. The one I have in my current scooter (E-Twow) feels like 2 kg or something (just guessing from holding it), and that's my starting point for improvement. I thought about geared hub motors to keep the weight down...

    Lightweight standup-scooter sanity check

Yeah I need at least something to cushion those cobblestones, feels like my teeth are about to rattle out of my skull... Not so nice to ride on, but I guess it has been so since before the horse was invented. Anyway, good to have some feedback from different angles! But about the motor kV, is...

    Lightweight standup-scooter sanity check

Hi guys, thanks for the replies and suggestions! yeah i know, his builds are awesome. I like how he evolved them for each iteration. Only thing I dont like is chain drive. Agree, 18650 are indeed more developed, but I had an idea to place as much batteries in the steerer tube, and then the...

    Lightweight standup-scooter sanity check

Hi All, I have been lurking ES for a while now, but finally decided to join and am thinking of getting a portable scooter build going. The background is basically that I have ridden close to 1000 km on my [commercially available] electric kick scooter, and while it is a quite reliable work...
