    Great news that a fix has been found. I have one of the bad controllers and my friends have a few. I’m hoping that someone could fix our controllers for us for a fee. I’m not capable of doing this myself but I’d be happy to pay someone that can do it. Anybody?

    I wouldn’t buy another Bafang kit until this problem is fixed and they replace my faulty controller. My BBSHD controller was also faulty. Great work on finding a remedy to the problem. Congratulations.

    Throttle Behavior

    I hope you guys can find a fix. I would not purchase another Bafang BBSXX until the vendor would guarantee that it would not have this problem. Question your vendor on this before purchase.

    I had the same problem on a BBSHD. A new controller fixed the problem. Seems like Bafang should reflash the controller with firmware that works properly. Programming won’t fix the problem.

    BBS02 - cannot use throttle while pedaling

    I had the same problem on my BBSHD. Throttle was great if I wasn't peddling. If I was peddling and hit the throttle it would only go to full throttle. No programming would fix it. The controller is bad. Replace the controller and all will be good.

    I received the new controller. Throttle is now smooth peddling or not peddling. Everything is now working perfectly. Thanks Luna!

    I think you have the same problem I have on my BBSHD. Throttle works fine if your not peddling but when you start to peddle it's either full power or no power. Programming would not fix the problem. Luna is sending me a new controller to install. They have been very helpful. I'll post how it...
