What is best ebike lighting available?

My BMSBattery 48V11.6Ah Bottle-09 Panasonic Battery Pack has an USB port I like to use for feeding my 7.5V Busch & Müller Lumotec IQ Cyo Senso Plus front light and my B&M Toplight Flats S backlight. A Pololu 7.5V Step-Up Voltage Regulator U3V70F7 did the trick. After some experimenting I...

Fully charged battery, stuttering problems Q100H @48V

I finally learned the controller received was a 36V type. BMSBattery provided for free a replacement 48V controller. Things work fine now! No more stuttering. I also ordered a second Q100H 260 RPM motor, I learned this motor has the same resistance (problems). Possibly I have to live with that.

Fully charged battery, stuttering problems Q100H @48V

I have been carefully biking, only using the throttle until I was up to at least 60% of maximum speed and only allowing the speed to be below 1/2 of the "No-load" motor speed for short moments. Furthermore most of the time I biked with the 18A setting and I only made flatland trips so far...

Fully charged battery, stuttering problems Q100H @48V

I'll contact BMSB and ask for a replacement Q100H motor and a replacement battery case carrier mounting with a 48V controller included. Given the trustworthy reputation BMSBattery has, I presume it will do it's best to overcome the problems arisen.

Fully charged battery, stuttering problems Q100H @48V

Thanks for your reaction. Meanwhile I noticed two other capacitors (the black ones) were 50V too. Elsewhere it was written this controller should have 63V capacitors ....I will ask BMSBattery to provide a replacing Bottle-09 battery case carrier mounting with a 48V controller included. The...

Fully charged battery, stuttering problems Q100H @48V

Thanks all for your contributions. docw009 in another thread you mentioned that I should consider the filter capacitors. If they were only rated for 50V like most 36V controllers, they would lose their ability to filter at high voltage. Tonight I opened the controller and noticed .....two...

Fully charged battery, stuttering problems Q100H @48V

It's weird, without pushing at PAS 5 my speed is appr. 40-41 km (so even slightly more then expected) but the moment I stop pedalling (at every pas level) you can feel the system starts to "brake". Possibly my system is not that stable at all, with cruise control at flatland my motor watts are...

Fully charged battery, stuttering problems Q100H @48V

After reading the positive experiences with the Q100H36V@48V I decided to install this configuration too. I bought the BMSBattery 48V11.6Ah Bottle-09 Panasonic Battery Pack (20A sin wave controller & S-LCD3) and their 260rpm version of the Q100H 36V350W Front Driving EBike Hub Motor. As this is...

    QUESTIONS ON SETTING/INSTALLING Q100c CST

I connected the poles of the craddle, unfortunately the problems came back in the next battery cycle (loaded up to 54,5V). NOTE: I finally learned the controller received was a 36V type. BMSBattery provided for free a replacement 48V controller. Things work fine now!

MAC Front Hub Motor Road Bike Build

The controller isn't get hot. Disconnecting the PAS Sensor and working with the throttle only (with P3=0, working on speed basis) did not help, still the same problems. NOTE: I finally learned the controller received was a 36V type. BMSBattery provided for free a replacement 48V controller...

How do I know my battery is empty?

Happily I managed to stop my stuttering problems. The capacitor of the controller had to be discharged (the "memory" had to emptied) by connecting the poles of the cradle and after that I added my 48V loaded batterypack. Possibly the controller was "thinking" I had a 36V system. Thanks for...

How do I know my battery is empty?

Thanks for you reaction docw009. Sorry for my confusing texts, I have the the 48V11.6Ah Bottle-09 Panasonic Battery Pack. I presume the BMSB 48V controller in that package is well prepared for the battery pack connected to that, I will double check that however.

    Ebike brakes

I just installed this closener type (Manufacturer number 0724802) and indeed it works fine with my BMSBattery configuration. Had to cut off the Higo/Julet connectors of the BMSB brake grips and I had to solder them to the reed switches (crimp hose around).

    QUESTIONS ON SETTING/INSTALLING Q100c CST

As I have some stuttering problems above 48V and as the battery indicator doesn't function well, it might be that my controller/LCD3 presumes I have an 36V system. 48V11.6Ah Bottle-09 Panasonic Battery Pack I like to give it a try to discharge the capacitor by shorting the unconnected battery...

Help ebike stutters after 5 min of riding .

With my BMSBattery 48V Panasonic battery pack and the LCD3 I had exactly the same problem with my Q100H..until I learned my battery should not be fully loaded up to 54,4V ..at 48V everything is going fine.

How do I know my battery is empty?

Thanks for all your reactions. It seems I have to live with a non function battery indicator, no problem the VOL is much preciser. As I understand the automatic stop at 41,5V is safe, the battery isn't empty by then. The maximum voltage of my battery pack is 54,5V, 48V is 88% .... so...

How do I know my battery is empty?

I have the https://bmsbattery.com/ebike-battery/680-48v116ah-bottle-09-panasonic-battery-pack-battery.html with KT LCD3 too. I installed the configuration with a fully loaded battery. The motor stopped at appr. 41V but the battery indicator was only minus one stripe at that moment. Possibly it...

MAC Front Hub Motor Road Bike Build

I received the BMSBattery Bottle pack 09 with integrated sine wave controller and the Q100H in good order. I did not install the ebrakes yet. I brought it down to 18A. Testing my configuration at flatland and PAS 1-3, the motor stopped after appr. 5 minutes. Pushing the pedals you can feel the...

    Ebike brakes

I just tested the BMSB configuration (Bottle 09) received. When I brake with the brake grip it closes the circuit, a signal is given to shut down the E-Bike engine support. So for my Magura's I need to buy the CLOSENER type of reed switches.

    Ebike brakes

In another forum I have found followings: "you can use a multimeter or continuity tester to determine whether you have a normally closener contact (= circuit is closed when braking) or an opener (= circuit opens when braking)". So a closener generates a signal when braking, to shut down the...

    Newbie questions about best upgrades

Thanks for your reaction. I decided to go for the bottle 09 from BMSB as in this forum others had positive experiences with it in combination with the Q100H. I especially like the compact size (integrated controller) and the easiness of installation.
