    Hub motor maintenance?

    You can grease sealed bearings just pick off the seal My motor covers had 1 good bearing and 1 shit bearing that had alot of resistance when i tried to spin it, which improved alot after i repacked it with proper grease

    Favourite high power hub motor?

    Probably a mxus 3k lightened to about 8kg on a lathe would be my go to Id lace it to 22" rims and run 22x2.5 tires, I can't stand the weight of heavy hub wheels

    It's gonna weigh a tonne, won't offroad well, won't look like a bicycle on the road, and won't be as cheap as you think it will be There's still ways to do the build you want to do but qs273 on trails/offroad isn't it

    Any updates on this? I understand the motor current dropping off as you run out of phase amps but why does the battery current also drop off in the mid/high end?
