    What hall throttle are you using? Some have an input that is 12V tolerant. I got some that were 8-30V, spring loaded, and waterproof from MCS.

    It should be, yes. If it isn't, then you're not correctly aligned. Try to run at a constant RPM as much as possible, 500-1000RPM maybe. I always used a drill to spin the motor.

    It's only straight up if it's aligned. What you need to do is pick the average line that best represents all of those dots. So something up and to the right a few degrees.

    Try aligning the encoder. 9 times out of 10 that is the issue for running rough. I emailed you the document you'll need.

    We designed the wiring loom, so yes, it plugged in and worked immediately. The Sevcon had to be programmed for the motor, yes. The wiring loom includes a programming port. Maybe I'm not understanding the question. Can you clarify?

    They have some off throttle regenerative braking (aka neutral braking). They don't want to integrate an additional brake input at this time.

    Yeah, I noticed that. The article says 15kW, not kWh, and it's roughly 4.5kWh. Gotta love journalists. I think they'll eventually want front brakes!

    Nice looking DC-DC. A little hard to get programmed (DVT doesn't fully have support yet). I did get ours updated to a different CAN Node and Baud rate. Using some of these in a project at work (Rinehart/AMRacing).
