    I use speed to keep me safe. 19 out of 20 bicycle fatalities are impacts from behind (IIRC). I keep up with traffic and don't ever give them that chance. I have removed getting passed constantly by motorists who don't respect my right to use the road from my cycling experience.

    You want about 1kwh, so 6 of the 8s 5800mah packs in my case. Around 20miles wot, 30 plus with pedaling. Lots of people here run like 2kwh too, can always add more later.

    Easy, turnigy lipo. Zippy/flightmax work too. Buy a few extra, sometimes you get a bad cell (not often, 1 extra should do) Seems like 5s/6s 5000mah are the most popular choice round here, I went 8s 5800mah to minimize the "rats nest" at a slightly higher cost
