I opened up the hub but replacing the hall sensors is a pain in the *** so I will get to that in due time, if only to keep the hub as a spare for testing, etc., and I ordered a new V4 8Kw one, which has the dual hall sensors, for peace of mind! :)...

    If the two grounds are not isolated from one another, it shouldn't matter which one you connect the GND from battery to!

    Actually I have no idea! Never looked at that piece of gear at all, but I would assume battery amps, which would make it quite impressive! So the QS 5kW hub is pushing through 400 battery amps, and is good? No issues?

    Yes, mine is the non-CAN! Sadly I am not certain what adapter is needed for CAN... so can't recommend, but I am certain somebody would chime in with the necessary information! That is awesome!!!! Quick enough and SOOOOOOOO silent! Brilliant!

    ОK, got it connected using a plain and simple FTDI module!!! So I guess the issue was the damed PL2303 module... bloody hell! Now, on to reading the manual, to try and figure out how to increase the regeneration, this giving me more stoping force that way, before having to use the brakes...

I have the PL2303TA cable... but I see there is also a PL2303 cable, with a black housing... any chance that might have something to do with it? I have been thinking whether I might have the CAN controller... but not sure how...
