    ToSeven DM01 Set Up Questions

"I really would have written in Hungarian :D Regarding the purchase of the firmware updater programming kit, I received various kind responses from Toseven and the Aliexpress store, but they have not yet found a solution. Also, I don't know how important this update is to using dm01?" On this...

    TSDZ2 OSF for all displays, VLCD5-VLCD6-XH18, LCD3, 860C-850C-SW102.

You have disabled the calibration already to remove the E02, you have said. Because the hallsensor and magnet are outlined, so the range is decreased you can't do nothing more than accept that or line up the hall sensor again, by a hardware calibration. If you want to disable the torque sensor...

    TSDZ2 OSF for all displays, VLCD5-VLCD6-XH18, LCD3, 860C-850C-SW102.

Your torquesensor isn't the best, so these values are close to each other. That is the reason you aren't satisfied with the performance of it. Have you measured the zero and max. values again after you had seen the error 02? Because if the new measured zero value is drifted above the earlier...

    TSDZ2 OSF for all displays, VLCD5-VLCD6-XH18, LCD3, 860C-850C-SW102.

I read this and see you enabled/disabled the calibration. But have you done the calibration too (zero weigt and max weight on the pedals)? Which two values do you have measured? Without calibration the standaard range is 160, but practical most range values are around 100 to 120. Because the...

    TSDZ2 OSF for all displays, VLCD5-VLCD6-XH18, LCD3, 860C-850C-SW102.

Pull out the speedsensor connector of the motor and measure the motorside connector. You need to power up the controller and measure the pins (black and white on the picture) If you measure 5V you can flash OSF (without powered up motor) For OSF you connect STv2 to, red 5V, white Swim and black...

Tsdz2 firmware open source adapted to vlcd5, vlcd6 and xh18

No. The EU have as limit a maximum of 250W continuous power, not the maximum feasible power, that can easy be more as twice as much for a short time. The given 250W continuous is the power at which the temperature does not rise and is hardware related (dimensions, quantity copper etc) so this...

    TSDZ2 OSF for all displays, VLCD5-VLCD6-XH18, LCD3, 860C-850C-SW102.

No, it is Bafang 860C uart version. This display does only work with Bafang motors with uart controller. The canbus version of 860C will not work and also can't be flashed. A Tongsheng 860C can't be flashed too and is delivered as stock display for Tsdz2

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

If you have the Vlcd5 you can check the Torque range with hidden settings. Te0 and Te1 are the same value without load on the pedals, Te1 will increase with load.

    TSDZ2 OSF for all displays, VLCD5-VLCD6-XH18, LCD3, 860C-850C-SW102.

If you had powered up the controller and measured 0V, then you can't flash the controller. May I ask where you bought the Tsdz2B?

    TSDZ2 OSF for all displays, VLCD5-VLCD6-XH18, LCD3, 860C-850C-SW102.

You can use the DIY without a problem, but you need to isolate the sockets with shrinktube. If you are not that handy it is better to buy the complete cable set. Because you have the speedlimit toggle the chance is there that the controller isn't flashable. To be sure you need to measure the...

    TSDZ2 OSF for all displays, VLCD5-VLCD6-XH18, LCD3, 860C-850C-SW102.

What you have done in hidden settings is changed the max. current setting, which can give also more power, but only if needed. As long you don't need this, everything will be the same. This setting is hidden because of the risc of burning the motor if you stay for a long time with that high...

    TSDZ2 48v 2020 new firmware

If you have this toggle setting you have indeed a non flashable controller (without SWIM port). On the old controller there is only a max. speed setting

    TSDZ2 48v 2020 new firmware

What about the speed limit setting? Is there an enable/disable option for that inside the settings? Problem is, you don't know if you blow up the Swim port. To be sure if you have the old version controller pcb, you must dissamble the motor Here you can see the differences old vs new

    TSDZ2 48v 2020 new firmware

You are the first and only one that mention this recently. If so, it could be that with the introduction of tsdz2bTurbo (Tsdz8) all controllers are changed now. With the Enerprof controller there is an extra setting "speedlimit" on/off and it isn't possible to change the speedlimit above 25km/h...

Anyone know about/tried TOSEVEN Mid Drive?

imho @Olek.x has stated there is a difference with the motor inside. The 250W/350W is smaller with a smaller rotor. This rated power is about the continues power, which is hardware related and determed by the manufacturer, so you can't change this by setting. (Continues power is the power...

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

With stock FW the Te and Te1 (not re/re1) value is the same without pressure on the pedals, this is the zero value. Only the Te1 value will go up with pressure on the pedals to a max. value with you complete bodyweight on it.

    TSDZ2 OSF for all displays, VLCD5-VLCD6-XH18, LCD3, 860C-850C-SW102.

What is de pin layout, or exact type number? I ask because I know only a PCB with DHT11 (humidity) and LM35 (temperature), but that isn't usable. Imho it's a bit of a waste to take the LM35 from that PCB, but then you can use it.

    TSDZ2 OSF for all displays, VLCD5-VLCD6-XH18, LCD3, 860C-850C-SW102.

The answer is no. You can acces the parameters exactly the same as with other stock display's by using the light button as described in the display manual for OSF. Because your 860C is a stock Tsdz2 display it isn't possible to acces these parameters as you do with a flashed Bafang type. Before...
