    Cafe styled Emoto(Ebike) build. 60v 40a, 20ah LiFePo4.

Out of the blue update here but I am rebuilding the entire front end of this bike. I was tired of the old wobbly front end with no disc brake possibility, so I'm going the whole 9 yards and upgrading the front end to a motorcycle like front end, with rebound and preload control, as well as a...

Hiboy Max3 convert to Twist Throttle?

I'm looking at getting a hiboy max3, since it seems to be the most fitting scooter for what im looking for price wise. It has just one flaw for me though, that thumb throttle. Is there a way to convert a thumb throttle on such a scooter to a full twist throttle?

    Hardware for a 120Volt 20ha series?

What is exactly what i need. I'm gonna be doing thousands of miles. It's my main mode of transport. I dont drive cars I havent driven a car in 16 years with the exception of re-upping my drivers license since I moved to another state. Electric is my last mile. So replacing my ebike with a mid...

    Hardware for a 120Volt 20ha series?

I apologize, I think this may just be a waste of time for what I want to do. And me asking anymore questions is just gonna waste others time. I think at the cost I'm looking at, getting an electric scooter will much better serve for what I want to do. And poses a lower risk of theft since I can...

    Hardware for a 120Volt 20ha series?

Higher top speed, harder acceleration. I need to be able to each 40~42mph sustained on flat ground, and able to run 35 without my throttle pinned. I'm using a hub motor. 1000watt winding, 9c clone. Ill be injecting it with statorade. I'm leaning more towards adding 36v or 48volt into the series...

    Hardware for a 120Volt 20ha series?

I'm currently running a 60volt LiFePO4 setup and frankly... it's not enough. Just prefacing this before hand, I am already getting a gas motorcycle. I cannot own a 2nd bike street bike, so I want to keep my ebike as an emoto project. I also can keep an ebike in my apartment but I can't keep a...

I need some help Wiring up my new controller to my new throttle.(images)

I wired the throttle into the battery+, not the instrument wire. It all operates as it should, Now the question at hand is where do I wire in my cut off brake lever. I'm assuming Low Brake, because it's got 2 wires? EDIT: Yes low brake line is the cutoff switch lever plug in. Bike is fully...

I need some help Wiring up my new controller to my new throttle.(images)

Update, I decided to simply not risk touching it. I just wired it into the battery positive. Everything works with both my 48v and 60v LiFePO4 batteries. But I still need to know of Low Brake is what I wire my motor cut off brake too.

I need some help Wiring up my new controller to my new throttle.(images)

I don't have a mulit meter so I cant test it. Considering this is a cheap basic chinese sourced controller I don't think it'll be for something fancy like a canbus.

I need some help Wiring up my new controller to my new throttle.(images)

I got a new throttle with a display and a key switch. I know for the most part how to wire it up, except there's one thing I'm rather curious about. The controller has a line on it that is labeled "Instrument panel" It has a female bullet connector. My throttle's Batter+ line has a male bullet...

A potato made me crash my bike and faceplant.

Oh I've done plenty of research, The irony of telling someone to do some research when research is what lead me to chose the gear I wear riding a bike that goes 30+ Your stance is insane and idiotic. To act like wearing protective gear is stupid just makes you unbelievably dense. I got into...

A potato made me crash my bike and faceplant.

This is the kind of stupidity that gets people killed and injuried. Cyclists get injured with very high frequency because they tend to not wear gear that is adequate for the speeds at which they're riding at, nor can that gear stand up to a car hitting them either. Knocking on wearing gear...

    How long would a Cheap ebay/amazon 48v 1000watt kit handle a 60volt LiFePO4 battery?

Not to be rude, but did you miss the part where I said I already have parts on the way to replace this stuff? I'm not gonna replace caps in a controller when I got a new controller on the way. I'm just wondering if the controller I have can handle this battery until the new parts get here.

    How long would a Cheap ebay/amazon 48v 1000watt kit handle a 60volt LiFePO4 battery?

I am aware of this. That is why im asking about the Controller specifically.

    How long would a Cheap ebay/amazon 48v 1000watt kit handle a 60volt LiFePO4 battery?

LiFePO4 is a little bit different in its output voltage. it stays pretty close to 3.3/3.2voltage output per cell for most of the discharge cycle, which is going to be about 66volts output. It's still above the 63volts, but Life has a very flat discharge curve.

    How long would a Cheap ebay/amazon 48v 1000watt kit handle a 60volt LiFePO4 battery?

Neither. what would I be looking for in the caps to see how high they're rated for?

    How long would a Cheap ebay/amazon 48v 1000watt kit handle a 60volt LiFePO4 battery?

BEFORE ANYONE SAYS TO GET NEW PARTS, I already have them on the way, it's just taking time to ship thanks to ongoing human malware issues. I have a 60volt 40amp controller, and new 60/72volt LCD twist throttle on the way. So this stuff is gonna take a while to get here. I have a 40volt 15amp...

I want to upgrade to 60Volts, but Infineon doesn't make their controllers anymore. Can anyone help me find substitutes?

Ok so just to simplify. I need to make sure the controller I'm getting has a lock line, and I connect the Blue wire on the throttle to that Lock Line. And then I connect the Yellow wire, in parallel to the Positive output on the Battery.

I want to upgrade to 60Volts, but Infineon doesn't make their controllers anymore. Can anyone help me find substitutes?

The throttle they have does not directly wire into their controller. That's why im asking about wiring this stuff together. They don't have a direct on off switch setup either like Infineon did. Infineon's stuff was entirely plug and play. All of the stuff you could just selected infineon...

I want to upgrade to 60Volts, but Infineon doesn't make their controllers anymore. Can anyone help me find substitutes?

The battery im planning on upgrading too is a 60volt LiFePO4 battery. The controller probably just automatically detects the voltage of a battery connected to it. I'm not worried about that, I just need to know how to wire in the throttle so I can turn the power on and off, and get motor going.

Less than 5$ of oil 3$ of silicon caulk and my friend's drill would still be cheaper and more effective.
