Erider torque voltage output consistency issue

I wanted to give a little feedback after a few months of testing. I resolved my issue by simply insulating the L1019 connector (Hub to controller) with electrical tape. It's as simple as that. I realized my issue was coming from the contact of that connector to my bike frame, after keeping the...

Erider torque voltage output consistency issue

Thank you for these insight to my problem and the suggestions for investigations. I'll test that and hopefully find out the origin of the issue (fingers crossed). I have already removed a dodgy connection from the system and detached the controller from the frame (it's now hanging in a bag)...

Erider torque voltage output consistency issue

Thanks for this suggestion amberwolf. I did the check and evrything seems fine. I also tested the throttle and the pedal sensor and both trigger a response and make the hub turn. As I said, I only get this fault when I connect the -tive side of the battery to the bike frame. Besides the issue...

Erider torque voltage output consistency issue

Anyone who could help ? I did what is suggested on Grintech site with no positive effect. " Instantaneous Phase Overcurrent Fault (2-2 Flash): This is a fault that typically occurs when there is a sudden change in the motor eRPM (such as hitting a pothole, or the motor transitioning from open...

Erider torque voltage output consistency issue

Hello, I read this thread because I have a similar issue with my set up. I connected the -ve side of the battery to the frame. And now as soon as press the throttle, I have a fault with the phaserunner. It says "Fault 9 Instantaneous phase over current". Did I do something wrong on the wiring? I...

    Torque sensor options in 2022?

I really like the idea :-)

    Torque sensor options in 2022?

Most Torque sensors will fit 68, 73, 100mm end even longer. This is not only about the length. It's about the size of the cup (the diameter of the BB shell) and how the BB it is mounted to the frame as well (ex: BSA are threaded, PF41 are press fit). The adaptor for BB30, PF30 will work for...

    Torque sensor options in 2022?

Thanks I went there and couldn't find anything else than threaded BSA type bottom bracket sensors either. Interesting forum however. I will keep reading.

    Torque sensor options in 2022?

Thanks for the suggestion. That was an interesting information. Unfortunately the BB86 would not fit into this adaptor. Plus the adaptor is made for bafang bottom bracket, not for the Threaded BSA type Torque sensors like the erider, NCTE.. It seems all BB sensors are threaded and BSA type.

    Torque sensor options in 2022?

I do not have additional information. The question is « are there any Bottom Bracket torque sensor for BB86 ? »

    Torque sensor options in 2022?

Grintech might have an answer. I order my equipments from them most of the time and they currently don't sell what I need. For the moment, I am asking here. I couldn't find anything using google either so I am hoping others might have done the same research more successfully or might...

    Torque sensor options in 2022?

Looking for answers to my current problem, I found this discussion and I find the title quite suitable. I hope it's Ok if I use it :-) I am investigating the possibility to electrify a gravel bike with a "large" bottom bracket cups. Do you know if any BB torque sensor for BB standards like...

Spoke angle on a RH212 and 700C wheel

The dealer who sold me the hub and the spokes told me not to worry too much about it too. There is a shortage with the e-Strong Sapim spokes and so I will wait a while and check the state of my wheel regulary. I have been riding approx 50 km with it with no signs of weakness in the wheel so far.

CA V3 display switching on its own

I have built a new wheel with a RH212 9C motor and since then, I have no issues at all with the dislay screen. I believe the problem was coming from the GMAC motor.

Spoke angle on a RH212 and 700C wheel

Thanks ZeroEm, yes, I think I will rebuild it with a new set of spokes. It should look like the picture below. The current build is worrying me too much.

Spoke angle on a RH212 and 700C wheel

I have juste finished building a 700C wheel with a RH212 hub motor and Sapim e-strong spokes. The way the spoke bends just after the nipple makes me a bit nervous. Is it acceptable to have such small bent? The spoke angle is a bit more than 70 degree so I thought it would be OK. The nipples...

CA V3 display switching on its own

The baserunner sits in the battery bag, yes. That's why I separated them for a test. But it didn't help. Yesterday I dit another 50 km without any issue on the display and no explanations, besides maybe the new cable routing. So I wont solder the capacitors in the CA for now.

CA V3 display switching on its own

Yesterday, I did a test trying to remove all possible loop in the wiring of all components. I moved my battery from its current place into a bigger rack bag. And the problem was still there. So I put my battery in its usual battery bag below the seat, I kept the new cable routing though. Did a...

    20S DIY triangle battery configuration

In the meantime I had almost decided to go for a classic box shape to make my first build. But this is very interesting indeed. I like the idea that there is no interruption in the series connection between the 20 parallel groups. I will definitely make a small design test with 4 or 5P. It...

CA V3 display switching on its own

I disconnected the CA buttons and indeed the issue remains. It's definitely related to induced noise from the system (battery or engine).

CA V3 display switching on its own

Wow! I am not familiar with that technique and have basic understanding of electrical systems but after a quick search I have seen many comments strongly against the idea of grounding a battery to the frame. You had no issues after doing that?

    20S DIY triangle battery configuration

Oh yes! Good point. I messed up the configuration of the 20S2P :? I illustrated a 20S30P here. I will correct that. :thumb: But otherwise ? Is it realistic to build these shapes? I want to use it for a GMAC 10T with Phaserunner or maybe later with a RH212STD

    20S DIY triangle battery configuration

Hello, this is my first DIY battery. I have two configurations that I'd like to consider but I am not quite sure it it is realistic/feasible. Can you tell me if this is easily achievable? I want easy series and parallel soldering (with a spot welder). I am considering using diagonal plastic...

CA V3 display switching on its own

I have a reply from GrinTech. Apparently it could be related to induce noise from the GMAC motor and disturbing specific CA controls. I am not an isolated case apparently. My particular issue could be related to noise into the CA buttons/switch. I have a procedure to disconnect the button pins...

Cycle Analyst V3 preview and first beta release

I did some additional check today. It seems to be related the some kind of interference between the engine and the CA. https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=113161&p=1674943#p1674943 Does that make sense?
