New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

If you have the ‚B‘ Version, there is no clutch anymore in the white (prior non-B: blue) gear. Instead there are 2 cluthes concentric on the big main gear. One of them is failing (wear starts wirh random failure occurences). Since to my knowledge at least one of the clutches is welded into the...

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

If the wires are not impaced, it should stll work. Also, you can buy that insulation material (i.e. Aliexpress) by the meter to replace it. It looks like some copper stuff, but it is just a very thin fiber-reinforced adhesive tape. Somewhere in this or another TSDZ thread here posted some info...

KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW)

Thanks for the response. I do not need the java configurator to work when I can edit a human readable configuration file. However, I do not understand exactly what you are saying, as when I check "include/acacontrollerstate.h" I see variable NAME definitions, but not VALUE definitions. -> where...

Yes that would be great! I.e.is there a way to get the java configurator to run?

KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW)

I got rid of the errors from the compiling bat file from consp's Fork: It looks like that in Start_Compiling.bat the path for STMicroelectronics\st_toolset and SDDC is differently defined compared to your fork / compared to the initial recommendations where to install these programs (see...

KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW)

That is sad, if there will be no maintainer - esp w/ the last improvements by consp, which will be then lost for the public. I am too clueless with c and github to volunteer myself.

KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW)

Thanks @stancecoke . I tried using the bat file, but it throws a bunch of errors after compiling. (Just to clarify - I talk about the fork from 'consp' - compiling your version works w/o issues) -> I guess I stay with the 'Torque from X4' Version in your github for my BlusOsec setup. (I was...

KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW)

If anyone could give a hint - as stated I can not get the java Configurator (of the above linked fork) to run. (I also went to the fork owners GitHub Page, but see no way to contact the creator or raise an issue there.) Any help would be appreciated. Maybe this gives a hint to someone more...

KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW)

I would be very interested in this (esp for BluOsec App use and for the "all fixed point arithmetic conversion) - but if I download the linked repository, the included OSEC Parameter Configurator.jar (from folder "tooling") does not even start. Also, the entire file structure looks a bit...

    TSDZ2 OSF for all displays, VLCD5-VLCD6-XH18, LCD3, 860C-850C-SW102.

I can have a closer look in the next days, but in general mbrusa fixed it a while ago already and included everything needed: There is a zip file with the 32bit stuff included.

    TSDZ2 OSF for all displays, VLCD5-VLCD6-XH18, LCD3, 860C-850C-SW102.

Thank you @mbrusa for your continous development for this motors - esp also for the setup with std Displays. Can‘t wait to test your new firmware-versions once you make it and the adapted java tool available. Great. Thank you!

    Broken TSDZ2 motor casing rebuild

Good luck. In the video It looked to me that the 2 gears are flush / on equal height - thats why I thought it is pressed in to the max. If that is not the case, then maybe you still have some room. But be careful - also the ferrite coils underneath are very brittle and can be destroyed easily...

    Broken TSDZ2 motor casing rebuild

In my experience, there is always a bit of play, but yours looks a bit unusual. However, I think it does not matter - and I would NOT hammer any further (there is no room to drive it further in. Also, I think this play will be reduced once you have installed the axle and secured that with the...

    TSDZ2 motor slipping

In blue or brass gear has 2 things in it: a simple roller bearing (which you show mostly in the video) and on the other side the one way bearing. To verify that that one works you need to test it on the axle, since the rollers in there ‚grab‘ the axle in one directin (and roll in the other...

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I would guess it is the one-way clutch in the blue gear. These are sometimes of low quality. Depending on your support it squeeches / slips (low support) or not (high support) - thats why it depends on the crank position. Once it warms up it ‘grabs’ better- thats when it subsides. -> Buy a new...

KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW)

No idea. Even if possible, probably not worthwhile - you have to have the App running plus some sort of BT device which interacts with the phone. Also, since the App is based on connecting to these HC-… BT modules, which are not capable of BLE, this setup consumes a lot of power from the phone.

KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW)

The App works totally reliable - if you pick the correct branch ofStancecoke‘s Github KT OSF. That branch avoids floating point calculations and is therefore faster. The branch is called „torque from x4“ I use it since years and it did not crash once

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

As I said, in my case it is this one and anotherone holding the 2nd needlebearing inside the shaft. Thanks for the info on eyeless circlips - did not see that tool before

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

No, I was also referring to the one in the shaft. That one as well has a circlip ring (in a groove in that shaft) And that one also has no ‚eyes‘ (similar to the one in your picture) Where the pliers can hold on to. That is at least the setup in my TSDZ2

Deciphering the tsdz2 torque sensor circuit

Well, keep us posted! ( meanwhile wonder what I have measured…. I did not have an Oszi, but I definetely saw a reaction of the current when changing the Hall postion relative to the magnets) But your video shows no reacton at all. So strange. What Voltage did you measure on the secondary side...

    TSDZ2 - torque sensor excitation

I am sorry to hear. I did not worry about the non symmetrical signal - it should be equalized once it is in the secondary spool. And on the primery side, there is nothing but the coil and the Arduino - they should be fine with the asym signal I would think. I am really confused why this does not...

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I was wondering the same -how to get that needle bearing out, esp as there is a circlip ring (right word?) holding it in place, which is next to impossible to remove. In my case I wanted to remove it to replace the bearing with a new one. In your case with the new casing I would definetely buy a...
