    Fat bike brakes upgrade

I have a city ebike, with 20-inch fat tires, a folding one, very like the "Mate X" bike. (https://www.mate.bike/en-us/mate-x/). It is quite heavy, a 25-30 kg bike. I am quite not satisfied with my Tektro Auriga hydraulic brakes, with the 160 mm rotors. The brake pads wear out quickly, there...

    Controller replacement

The front light has been working perfectly fine for more than 2 years. It is a motorcycle (LED) H4 bulb, voltage: AC/DC 8-85V (https://bit.ly/3A6nI3z). Running the light from a different circuit, I presume I loose the turn ON/OFF option from my handlebar buttons, don’t I?

    36v/500W motor upgrade

Frankly, I do not what other specification should I add about those motors. This is the one I have now: and this is the one I am thinking about: The controller: yes, there is room for a bigger one. The wires: I guess they will work fine. But just a guess based on what I have read in...

    36v/500W motor upgrade

I would like to upgrade the motor - from the Bafang rear 36V/250W to the Bafang rear 36v/500W, while powering it with a silverfish 21Ah battery and a brushless motor controller (max. current 17A/rated current 8A). I have posted a similar question...

    riding range/motor upgrade

No. A new, 48V-compatible controller will be needed if decide to go for this upgrade (from 250W+36V/21Ah to 750W+48V/17.5Ah) . According to the the battery seller, my current controller (https://bit.ly/3t47KCH) would not work fine with the new set (750W+48V/17.5Ah).

    riding range/motor upgrade

Hi I have a city fat bike (20”) powered by a rear 250W motor with the 36V/21AH battery. My average riding range is 50-60 km. Now, I am planning to upgrade my bike and install a rear 750W motor with the 48V/17.5AH battery. I wonder if my riding range changes significantly or will I achieve...

    Bafang 36v/250W vs 36v/500W

I did not ask about the controller. The 250W motor is the same as the 500W one? The same power/torque/speed? Never have to much power? I do not understand your point. Can you be more specific, more simple so to say, please?

    Bafang 36v/250W vs 36v/500W

I am thinking about getting a new Bafang motor for my folding bike. I would like to upgrade the motor - from the 36v/250W to the 36v/500W, while powering it with a brand new 21Ah battery. 1. What is the main difference between those two motors (36v/250W vs 36v/500W)? Is it just speed or just...
