    25A KT peaks at 1100W

Question to everyone here: Can I just swap the motor on the bike to my old motor? Just slide the cruiser's motor out and slide the old one in? Or would I need to rebuild a wheel? Ebikeling motor: Cafe Cruiser: If not, I called a bike shop and they said they'll build a wheel around a...

    25A KT peaks at 1100W

I told that to Ride1up (basically copy/pasted your response), they said the 4v of sag is normal. "Often times issues like this can be caused by excess resistance from an external factor, not the battery itself, since your wattage output does seem to be correct this is very likely. An issue like...

    25A KT peaks at 1100W

I took the bike out again today and saw that my once Vsag of 0.2v is now 3-4v from 54.6v even on flat. This is a bike with around 10 miles on it. I'm starting to wonder if my battery is defective. I remember when I bought my battery for my DIY bike, it started off with 1-2v of sag and quickly...

    25A KT peaks at 1100W

After a lot of digging, apparently the old name of the motor is "CST". I'm still having a hard time finding the magnet number. On another forum, a guy told me that his Ride1up 700, which uses the same motor, was accurate at P1= 80. Edit: I found a post of a guy that took his apart. It is 16...

    25A KT peaks at 1100W

With those settings it reads as 5mph. Something else I noticed is that the walk assist (holding down), with any settings, starts off at normal speed but slowly the motor begins to slow down., Not sure if it's supposed to do that.

    25A KT peaks at 1100W

Hi, and thanks for responding. Measured via display but I'm inclined to believe it considering it's performance compared to my DIY bike. Or at the very least, something is wrong as I'm not getting more performance than my DIY even though it's 3A higher. To use a watt meter on this, how do I do...

    25A KT peaks at 1100W

So I got myself a cafe cruiser. I realized the controller on my cruiser was restricted to 18A by the display and so I upgraded to a KT 25A controller. Hard to find exact specs of the battery but Aliexpress replacements of it specify 30A continuous, 50A peak and a google of Samsung 21700 cells...

    Display limitations

Yeah, I am just not sure how to go about this because in my search, sellers do not seem to list this. I asked JN on AliExpress about it. They gave me a really weird answer that doesn't make sense and also rubbed salt in the wounds. Basically they confirmed they sell 35A controllers with 20A...

Doesn't feel as strong as my other bike that's 22a. I have an S900 btw, which from what I read isn't the same because I thought about try it.

    Display limitations

I purchased a 48v/22A controller from JN (DC Moto Controller by Lithium Battery) that came with an S900 display. After 1 month of waiting and hours of getting it into my bike, I see the S900 display limits the current to 20A. I see that JN also sells controllers that go up to 35A and they use...

What rear brakes can I install on this bike frame?

I was just looking at one of Nakto's disc brake bikes and had an idea. https://i.imgur.com/Lrg19hr.png My bike rack can be heightened for clearance. This will free up a few mounting holes which I could maybe use for a disc brake caliper? https://i.imgur.com/9cIpVdV.png That said, the hole...

Programming Ebikeling 750w Geared hub. Cannot find gear reduction ratio value.

Thanks, looks like I guessed correctly lol. Ah, I bought a KT controller. Bought the wheel/motor separately. That actually helps, thank you.

What rear brakes can I install on this bike frame?

Thank you. I at least now have an idea of what to do after these replies. As a noob question, what are the issues I would run into using a disc brake adapter? Like this one...

What rear brakes can I install on this bike frame?

Thanks. The drum brake rotor screws onto the hub of the old one. I tried making an adapter for it with a bottom bracket bearing and a disc brake flange but the axle did not have enough space. Here is what the rotor looks like on the old bike. https://i.imgur.com/zq44rhI.png The rotor screws...

What rear brakes can I install on this bike frame?

Album link Hello. I replaced the rear wheel of my stock ebike that originally came with a drum brake built into the rim of the wheel. The bike was given to me by a 70 year old who man rode it for a month, fell off it (messed up the wheel internals) and his wife made him give it up. I know his...

Programming Ebikeling 750w Geared hub. Cannot find gear reduction ratio value.

Hi all. I am programming the KT controller for my Ebikeling 750W motor. I know it has 16 magnets, 260rpm and 26" wheel, but I cannot find the gear reduction ratio. I have looked on their website as instructed in my controller programing video tutorial by Bolton Ebikes, but I came up short. So I...

Nakto: Does anyone have any experience with these bikes?

Hi, I have a Nakto Men's Camel. 250w. 36v 10ah battery. It was given to me by an old relative who road it for a year, fell off it and the family made them give it up. Which I gladly took it off their hands as I do not have transportation. I recently bought a 350w geared hub motor for it as the...
