    How heavy is that big battery and how many screws hold it down? A full 24 oz water bottle is 1 lb 10 oz. I have a small 4.5 lb water bottle battery which needs the mounting points relocated with 2x 5 mm Rivnuts (weaker than factory brazeon) and I am worried if that's too much weight/ stress.

    Broken TSDZ2 motor casing rebuild

    After updating to the latest OSF for LCD3, this TSDZ2 has been running good so far (315 miles) on this test bike. I am getting around 44 mile range on a fully charged UPP 48V 7AH bottle battery with 43.8V remaining. I think that's pretty good efficiency.

    Just saw your post. I had a similar problem and wired the ST Link to the 3.3V pin and that got it to communicate. See this post TSDZ2 OSF for all displays, VLCD5-VLCD6-XH18, LCD3, 860C-850C-SW102.

    Thanks, it's not done yet! I rough shaped it with knife and rasp when the branch was 8" long. Couldn't wait to try it so cut it to size and installed it rough. I need to take it off, round the sharp edges/ sand it smooth.

    By deleting 1 spring, forces are no longer evenly distributed. They should have placed the 2 springs so they are 180 degrees apart.

    I see the (Allen) hex bolt you are referring to. I am still confused as to what a threaded vs threadless fork looks like. What thread is it referring to? Can you link to a pic which would show the thread? Is the Sheldon Brown screenshot above correct? Is mine threaded or threadless?
