I replaced a friend's KT controller (on a Rad Rover) with a Cyclone replacement controller recently. Luna advertises them as being identical to the stock controller in terms of wiring. The bike had a standard 3 wire PAS with black, red, and white wires. This was the same as the controller, so I hooked it up directly.
No good.
I ordered a similar, common type PAS sensor from Amazon so I could get it fast.
No good.
I ordered the version made specifically for this controller, but see no reason why it would work where the other 2 did not. Im not optimistic.
When I connect the "PAS on/off" wires together on the controller, the throttle stops working, along with the non-working PAS.
Id message Luna about this but in my experience they know next to nothing about these products, and will simply not reply to stuff like this.
Could the original RAD PAS have damaged the controller? Any tips or advice?
