Hi All,
CycleAnalyst + torque sensor + hub motor
I'm trying to find out if in such a setup the torque sensor works similarly well as in Mid-drive systems like Shimano, Yamaha, Bosch...

I would gladly listen to your experiences.

Of course, there will be a controller in this setup (maybe Grin). As for the motor, I'm aiming for the Grin Rear V3 All-Axle where the torque sensor is already mounted, so there's no need to insert it into the bottom bracket of the bike.

Great response and excellent cycling experience. Very configurable. Great response to input. Best system out there.

Cons: Broke in 10,000 miles in two years. Took out Bottom bracket sensor and the Cycle analyst due to a fluke on the 5v rail in the CAV3 and the bottom bracket sensor shorting out... broken wire inside ... wet location, dirty life, weak part of any hub motor system. More complexity means more chance of failure. Oh well.

Would I pay to do it again... did I get my $ worth,... Hell yeah ... yes.
