Re: TSDZ2 mid drive and 850C and SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

I see. Too bad, was awesome to switch with the display. Wonder if a small 6v relay would work better, allowing you to pass the signal from the display even though you draw power to the light from the battery? Luckily, my light is variable voltage and has an on off switch, so wire straight to batter...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive and 850C and SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

I just finished my first ebike with the latest open source firmware (as of today). Unfortunately I have the same issue as described a few pages ago, where I get no assist if my lights are on. Everything works great with lights off. When I do try to pedal with lights on, the 850C shows like 36amps c...

but it looks like temperature cant be seen at all on 0.6.7 sw102. Or you don't know how to read the instructions on the wiki. I just went through wiki again and can't find anything that points to the way to set sw102 display so I can see current temperature. Am I reading wrong wiki? https://github....

Re: Bafang SW102 Bluetooth LCD - OpenSource firmware and mobile app

While testing to see what minimum re-config I could do to take advantage of an opportunity to ride with v0.6.5, I made the following additional observations: The long motor jiggle noted above is not good . When it happens, the application of assist power afterwards is all wrong (sounds destructive!...

Re: Bafang SW102 Bluetooth LCD - OpenSource firmware and mobile app

Hi casainho, I just installed this update since I had been waiting for a fix for the configuration bug. However, with this update when I start the system in the lower part of the display it says "motor bloc" (blinking) and I cannot enter the configuration screen. With the previous version (0.6.5) i...

Hi. I installed the latest version on my commuting bike, comming from the stock version (VLCD5) Some questions and returns: Sometime, the interface freeze while browsing the menus. The bike is still usable anyway. As already mentioned, there is the issue saving the settings. I modified the tsdz2 to ...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I've got a problem with flickering headlight that is connected to the TSDZ2's light connectors. It's OK from start but when voltage drops under 50V the light gets more and more unstable. I assume this is due to crappy voltage regulator on the 6V output. Unfortunately when it gets really bad my lamp...

Re: Sensorless Sync Issues (was Phase Combinations, Aotema)

Success! With some input from Lyen I think I've finally got this thing tuned properly. First, I programmed the controller for 30 amps rated/50 amps phase, as Lyen suggested. That should have reined the power output back to the low-2000 watt range, but it had little discernible effect--the controlle...

Re: Sensorless Sync Issues (was Phase Combinations, Aotema)

Same problem for me with Lyen sensorless and magic pie. It makes a surge of power than always at a certain speed it pulls back while making that awful noise and a bad vibration. The whole bike shakes violently, but if I ramp up the throttle slowly it is fine. That's exactly my issue. It appends dur...

Hi. I have the same probleme here. Same controller than you, my motor is a geared freewheeled sensorless Bafang motor. I still hope for a Fix but I think I will change my motor to a sensored one. Any idea on how to turn the sensorless controller into a sensored one? I don't think just solder sensor ...

I tryed to slowly charge them, but after a few hours they took fire!!

50km with the new controller (the one from E-crazyman ) later: it's better! No 'hammering" during acceleration, restarts, hills like before, it's near perfect. I just have a problem about the throttle range: in range 0% to 20% : the motor is off 20% to 60% : speed increase (and it's not the same fee...

Re: Zippy Flightmax / Turnigy lipo testing

My 2c:
I use 4 3S/3Ah 20C Turnigy battery (2S2P for discharge, 4P for charging, see my ebike setup in sign).
About 30-40 cycle for now in 2 month, no problems at all from the lipo ;)
I check cells time to time but I never had to balance them.

I'll go to 2*6S soon.
