Re: YesComUsa - 36v 750w 24inch Ebike kit

Most of those kids can run at 48 volts but your reader if it's a 3 light meter will be off as that meter is made for SLA usually. The best idea would be the open it up and see if you have 63 volt caps or higher and at that point are 88% guaranteed it will work. I heard or think the rule is they use ...

Re: How does ANT BMS balance the battery pack and how long does it take?

You need to balance the pack before you install the b m s. The BMS and its tiny balance circuit will help to keep a balance battery balance. Yes I would charge up to the low parallel group and don't over charge. Whatch for the cells don't get hot . sometimes a cell that is bad only take so much char...

Re: charges only 53.2 volts, it is meant to charge 54.4

Find out the state of charge of the battery or what is the charge level in each cell ? Start at the negative end as cell one moving to the positive end record each voltage of each cell like this on a piece of paper. 1. 4.20v 2. 4.01v 3. 4.15v 13. Xxx Report back. Plus Check voltage of charger. Share...

Re: Help with choosing the right battery for powerful motor

A throttle ask 4 wattage voltage from the controller the controller demands it from the battery. That's iit The battery is very dumb that's why it needs a BMS a battery management system . A controller controls A throttle demands from the controller. Never mind a throttle will only tell sometime tom...

Re: Help with choosing the right battery for powerful motor

The only thing that can melt your motor is the throttle or the controller. build the battery bigger and stronger and more powerful than you need and then you won't use it to its limits and it won't wear out prematurely. Remember your controllers are programmable and it's called the controller for th...

Re: Leaf / leafmotor / leafbike high efficiency 1500w motor

I were on an edge 1500 watt 35 mm aluminum stator and run 80v @ 40 amps with fins no problem. Oh I also cut three holes in the side plate on each side to let the heat out. No worries I've other side plates from Milton motors if this doesn't work. I was trying to keep the weight down as a message 3,0...

Mix match facts can work but are complete headache and have a lot of safety problems.
use your 48v battery as it's the one you got and later in life buy a 52 volt battery the size you need with the quality cells you need all new all known quality cells. Less chance of fire

Okay we need to know what type of demands are you putting on your battery. How much you weigh and what are you hauling are you on the flats are you going up at 10 for 20 degree Hill. These things will kill a battery. Do you run it down to it dies or you charge it still has something left in the pack...
