And in order to help you to setup the controller here you have link to some videos I made about it with Kelly-KLS controllers:

Re: KT controller not switching between 36 and 48v batteries
The "automatic" detection of battery voltage of KT controllers does not work really well. I had always the issue that connecting a 48V battery when it is almost empty, the controller detected as a 36V battery... I would prefer it to be selectable more than automatic... For what you say I t...

Re: Fully 3D Printed DIY electric car
It seems pretty reasonable. Not sure what controls your relay (is it for flashing?), or how the brake signal works. Thank you Addy. Yes the "relay" (maybe that is not the proper name) is the device that makes to intermittently flash the turning lights. I just discovered an error in the sc...

Cool project and nice motorbike.
Following with interest your project.
One detail that I noticed, the bike has a rear rack (I suppose aftermarket), in order to improve its looks, if I were you I will get rid of it.
Progressive regenerative braking. I would like to vary the levels with the brake lever
Then the first thing you need is a brake lever with a pot or a hall sensor in order to get 0V to 5V signal for the controller. This lever needs to have a switch as well, because this controller n...

Here is a picture of one of the parts in a section cut, so you can see how they are inside. As you can see the parts are almost hollow (See picture) with an internal gyroid estructure. The walls of the parts varies from around 1.2mm to 3.9mm and the infill from 9% to 15% of the volume, depending on ...

Re: Kelly KBS-E controller Variable Brake Regen setup issues

Re: Kelly KBS-E controller Variable Brake Regen setup issues
but my throttle stops working after i connect pin 13 to ground .. Obviously when you brake the motor should stop working :D Does this mean I have to connect the throttle switch (pin 15) to ground (pin 20) too? (thereby turning on the throttle switch) That is the "dead man" switch that you...

Re: Kelly KBS-E controller Variable Brake Regen setup issues
I tried connecting pin 13 to 20 via a connecting wire from the throttle -(black wire) to a pin that connects to pin 13 ,thereby closing the loop as if brake switch is turned on, and now throttle doesnt work either. That is correct and what a switch brake should do, when you brake (activate the swit...

Re: Kelly KBS-E controller Variable Brake Regen setup issues
Like TommyCat says you need a switch that activates the brake. But not pin 3
The no. 13 pin has to get shorted to ground (pin 20) to enable regenerative braking with this switch.
And you are right on newer versions it is not need, but KBS ones are old models.

For the kelly KEB48601:
Max. continuos current from battery is 140A so if your wattmeter is up to 200A you do not need a bigger wattmeter.

Re: do not buy any yalu engine, they are rubbish mine has broken in 3 days, you did not waste money.
Yalu is not a motor manufacturer, is a whole sales distributor, and they do some retail sales by Alibaba and Aliexpess. One of the main brands they represent is Unitemotors. This brand produce very good motors for what are designed for, and they are produced in magnitudes of hundreds of thousands fo...

I managed to design a glue for PLA plastic that actually creates stronger bondings than epoxy ones. More than a glue is a chemical welding product. It is made with a solvent (Dichloromethane) PLA as filler. It really works well in PLA, PLA+ and PETG but need some more test in this last one. I am now...

Re: Why not heat my house w heat lamps?
My opinion:
To use heat lamps in order to get light and heat is feasible, but usually happens that the light points position is not the optimal for a heat source and viceversa. So most cases it is more efficient to have them separately.

I wonder what you want pedals for in a machine like that
BTW, you need to invest some time/work in better cable management

Like others says and KellyContollers people says the KV of a motor is an inherent characteristic of the motor that can not be changed with the controller obviously. So this is the thing, when I use any of the controller on the QS motor and let go of throttle, it breaks a bit and the voltage gets ove...

Re: Kelly KBL 96251 and QS V3 273 trouble
I bought the 5T motor. The 5T and upwards are the medium/slow motors, I do not have the full details on your precise motor but it provably is around 10KV (10rpm per volt), so 1000rpm at 100V that is around 114Km/h for a 24" diameter wheel. I believe it is a 16 PolePair motor so 1000rpm x 16Pol...
