Re: NEW BOLT ON TORQUE ARMS for IS disc caliper mnts 25$ shipped

The front arm was made in only 2 batches. I couldn't find enough people with the same front bolting pattern to sell them.

Hi!
I've send you a private message about ordering two torque arms a couple of days ago.
Did you receive it?

Cheers

Re: Sanyo 18650GA low voltage cutoff

I run my battery packs based on two things: Capacity - Using the CA is the best thing ever since you can actually know how may AH you have discharged. From this measurement I try to discharge my pack to a 80% max, ie. if it is a 10AH pack I'll only discharge 8AH. LVC @ Max Controller Rating - I do t...

Re: Single-Speed Momentary Pushbutton Throttle?

Lets just clarify it ...

teklektik
Hook it from 'throttle +5V' to 'thottle signal'.

chas58
Just wire the ground and the 5v together to get full power as noted above.

these two methods are different. Which one has worked before ?

Re: Advice for newbie building on an EEB frame

If that's the case then the MAC would be a good choice but the frame is not really hiding anything even on 26" rims it screams high power ebike as it resembles a MC build.

To me what you're doing is buying a mustang with ALL the extras but with a 2.3 ecoboost engine (in american terms).

Re: Enduro Ebike frame build

I have this frame too. What kick stand are you using and how does it attach to the frame ? Kudos I got the kickstand from powervelocity.com. When you remove the side cover look at the very bottom of the frame and there will be a nut welded in there but covered by the bottom plastic. You need to dri...

Got my front and rear brakes installed today. Fronts are zee hydraulics with 203mm rotors and rears are bb7 with also 203mm rotors. I wanted to have rear mechanical brakes just in case. http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t21/migueralliart/DSC_0335_zpscqgo4pgx.jpg http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t...

Re: Advice for newbie building on an EEB frame

If all you're gonna push thru is 40a at 48v then the mac makes sense but it depends on the amount of hills you have and cruising speed. Use the simulator and the actual weight and see if the bmc (torque or speed) will overheat or not. I like the frame but I'm going a bit more heavy duty with it so I...

Re: Advice for newbie building on an EEB frame

My 2 cents... I would not go with a MAC motor with this frame. It seems all the vector, eeb frames being built in this forum are going with MC rims and a MXUS V3 or QS motor. The logic is that the frame is somewhat heavy and any weight you save with the motor will be negligible in the end since by th...

Re: New project. Trike, customer wants it to go fast

I disagree about the stability at speed on a kmx trike. A couple of things increase stability, one thing is large diameter front wheels. The tiny 16 inch front wheels are more jittery than 20 inchers. Also a steering dampener solves any instability problems. I have the 20 inch front rims and hookwo...

Re: New project. Trike, customer wants it to go fast

I'll chime in since I have been riding my trike for some years now. If 40mph is the goal for some sort of cruising speed DO NOT GET A KMX trike. People will say its fun and all but a single bump, pot hole, distraction will be bad for you. The fastest I ride my trike cruising is 35mph with no traffic...
